Mitch will go ahead with Trump impeachment, but only after Biden is sworn in. So no, Mitch will have no role in it. He is minority leader after Kamala is sworn in as VP.

I bet Biden won't get an inaugeration crowd half as big as Trump's.

Clearly not. Whoever owns those companies has their best bottom line at heart. It was ever thus.
I do approve of Sidney Powell's suspension, though. Hoping he'll get taken to court for aiding and abetting Trump in his criminal activities, found guilty and sentenced to years in prison.

I wonder if Trump could manage a 'burner phone' without outing himself on twitter...

They don't wanna go down in history as the social media platform that kicked off WW3 at Twitter. There's still time for that. Lawyers being what they are at top level those nuclear codes in Trumps pocket will still be good to go, right up to the last minute.

Meh. You're not exactly keeping up with the news, are you? Trump has circumvented the suspension already.

Well at least the button has been removed out of his chubby little hands:

Just lock him up.House speaker called Gen Mark Milley, chairman of joint chiefs of staff, ‘to discuss available precautions’
Nancy Pelosi spoke to the head of the US military on Friday, seeking assurance that Donald Trump will not be able to launch a nuclear strike during his last days in office.
At the end of a bizarre and dangerous week in which the US Capitol was stormed by supporters of the president, in an attack that left five people dead and prompted widespread calls for his immediate removal, the House speaker told Democrats she had called Gen Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Amid rising tensions with Iran and other foreign policy challenges, Pelosi sought to “to discuss available precautions for preventing an unstable president from initiating military hostilities or accessing the launch codes and ordering a nuclear strike”.
A spokesman for Milley confirmed the conversation.
“Speaker Pelosi initiated a call with the chairman,” the spokesman said. “He answered her questions regarding the process of nuclear command authority.”
"Wat is het een gezellig boel hier".

Re: All Things Trump: Is it over yet?
Oddly Trump never asked his Trumpsters to go into the biggest center for counting votes in Atlanta and just walk out with all the votes. The state legislature would have been in a tough spot, but would have given the electors to him. The constitution would give it that power. It does not say you have to vote. Senators were not voted for in early days.

Sidney Powell is a woman, by the way. She was referred to as he above.

Re: All Things Trump: Is it over yet?
Trump entered office boasting of how he was the “Hemingway of 140 characters” and crediting Twitter in particular for powering his political ascent. More than 56,000 tweets later, he leaves it amid a futile game of Whac-A-Mole with the tech moguls he despises, exiled to the outer provinces of the internet.
If this is how Trump’s presidency closes out, it will be a remarkable endnote. As a candidate for office, he was — at times — ubiquitous: posting outrageous takes on Twitter, calling into cable news shows, and grabbing the camera’s attention even when the podium on which he was set to hold a campaign rally was empty. Now, he’s increasingly isolated and receding from the spotlight. His favorite bullhorn is gone; oh, and the presidency is too.
