Not surprised Scot couldn't see the English error in Ani's post. It's only Scot's first language, after all.

Re: US Election 2020
45% of Republicans support yesterday's sacking of the Capitol.
Goddamn fascists. This party is fascist. And it is fucking irredeemable. "Deplorable" wasn't a strong enough word.
"But Seabass, what about the Republicans that don't support the sacking of the Capitol?"
Yeah, fuck them too. They are remaining in the party with the fascists and continuing to support it, so how are they any better? Nazis who did not support the Final Solution but remained with the party were still fucking Nazis. Fuck 'em. Fuck ALL OF THEM.

I agree. I doubt enough can be helped to make the effort worthwhile. I just hope we can continue to grow faster than them.

The way he speaks he didn't write this text and he doesn't like reading it out aloud. It sounds like when I had to say a poem to Father Christmas as a child to get a present.Animavore wrote: ↑Fri Jan 08, 2021 12:11 amTrump just posted on Twitter. Disowns supporters who rioted. Re: US Election 2020
All the hardworking Americans without college and with red hats are just mad about the stolen election, that was why they wanted that coup. It's only fair! They were just confused and scared!
Ainsley Earhardt: “There are 75 million people that voted for President Trump. And they are scared. They are worried about what the future of this country looks like. They are confused and heartbroken that their candidate didn't win and they don't want to be forgotten.”

Re: US Election 2020
This was already in December. The authorities must have been aware of what to expect on January 6thRep. Mike Nearman, a Republican from Independence, opened a door to the Capitol during a Dec. 21 special legislative session, allowing demonstrators seeking to disrupt proceedings to illegally enter the building.
Several dozen demonstrators — including some carrying rifles — tried throughout the day to break into the Capitol and physically attacked journalists who were reporting on the event. At least one person was arrested after trying to enter the Capitol by breaking the window in a door. People also gained entrance without breaking in -- and this security footage shows exactly how. Oregon’s Capitol was and is closed to the public due to the pandemic, although journalists are allowed inside to report on proceedings.

Re: US Election 2020
The insurrection is happening at state capitols, too
Across the country, protesters have rallied outside, as well as inside, state capitol buildings over Trump’s false claims of voter fraud.
