I had no idea about this. Clearly he’s a real estate investment genius.

Vice president has broad powers to disregard electors on a whim:

Trump might believe that he can bend the rules, and have no consequences.

For those career politicians, that intend to fight the next election, not so much. They know that being associated with this coup will impact them over the long term.

Trump unexpectedly returns to DC (and GA rally) instead of his planned new years party.
He is going to enjoy the victory rally with the Proud Boys?

Will we need to wheel him out like in the video in Jan?

Trump thought the loser party was going to be an embarrassment, so he left. People paid 2000 for the party ticket.

We are doing fantastic testing! More testing than any other country!

According to The Times, during a meeting of top aides in the Oval Office on August 19, Trump grew angry with increased COVID-19 testing in the US, which he blamed for higher case numbers. "You're killing me! This whole thing is! We've got all the damn cases," Trump reportedly yelled at Kushner.

Has it reached the point that the reporters no longer need the accounts of anonymous sources, but stand in Lafayette Park and just record?

A source familiar with Joe's thinking said that wasn't at all the case, and then Toobin'ed herself, satisfied.

Just to note that the Republicans in the US Senate have overridden the Trump veto on the "Mo' Money fo' tha Guns and Planes" bill. First time they've dared to defy the Lard-butt God Emperor. A lame duck making idiotic noises is all very well, but trying to stop Republicans shovelling money at the US military is a losing hand.

I believe that a number of conservative Merkins will be going to church tomorrow to pray that God intervenes and gives Trump a second term.

:ask: Does that mean that when Trump doesn't get returned that they will conclude that God doesn't listen to their prayers? :ask:
