I think you misunderstood my question. I meant, who was investigating, department-wise.

My best guess is that it is the public corruption unit.

From a reasonably believeable source...

I did not misunderstand your question, which was if I could "confirm who was investigating and what".

What is the point of asking the new one about "who was investigating, department-wise"?

Is it to draw my attention to the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York Mr. Berman, who praised the outstanding investigative work of the FBI and the NYPD? He also thanked the U.S. Customs and Border Protection for their assistance while completely ignoring the investigative reporter, Julie Brown, who actually blew the lid on Epstein's sex-crime network, discovered the identity of 80 of its victims, then passed her leads on to the appropriate government departments. As the title of one of the articles I provided the relevant link to, "The Jeffrey Epstein Case Was Cold, Until a Miami Herald Reporter Got Accusers to Talk".

Yeah, but what about this other really important question? Your previous post didn't even touch on that, but as you hate Trump I'm not surprised.

Wealth inequality is good - in the Netherlands!

Look. Nobody is disputing that income and wealth inequality are not pressing social problems (well, other than the monied classes of course). The 'problem' -- such that it is -- was that you rather over-egged the pudding (exaggerated for effect).

4:41 "1% of America has 40% of all the nation's wealth." Not even close to your assertion that "The 1% in America is a clear group owning 90% of America's wealth."

Your assertion is nowhere near your claimed figure on the global scale either.
1:26 "the richest 1%, they've accumulated 43% of our world wealth."

As I mentioned before, until you provide a link to support your assertion that "The 1% in America is a clear group owning 90% of America's wealth" I regard that statistic as something you pulled straight out of your arse. Try again.

Well it is a lot better than you pulled out of your arse especially from a right wing think tank.
Is it now? Let's see:

You claimed that the 1% in America is a clear group owning 90% of America's wealth.

I linked to figures claiming that the top 1% in America own 30.5% of total net worth and 27.4% of total net assets.

You linked to a video claiming that 1% of America has 40% of all the nation's wealth.

Your link purporting to prove your original assertion that the 1% in America is a clear group own 90% of America's wealth turns out to be a lot closer to the 30.5% - and even 27.4% - that I linked to than your ex recto number.

In case you need help with mathematics the difference between your claim and the video you linked to is 50 percentage points. The differences between the same video and the numbers I linked to are 9.5 and 12.6 percentage point respectively.

Also, look up the meaning of pulling stuff out of one's arse. One can't pull stuff out of one's arse when it comes from a source other than one's arse. For the third time, until you provide a link to support your assertion that "The 1% in America is a clear group owning 90% of America's wealth" I regard that statistic as something you pulled straight out of your arse. Try again.

Do you accept that inequality world wide is a massive social and economic problem? Actual figures are difficult to obtain due to the nature of inequality. It usually involves criminal activity or moving in the grey area of society. We dont get clean data regarding wealth and income. We get approximations and guesstimations drawn up often by right wing think tanks who have an interest in not telling the truth. Here the rag Fortune comes to mind.
On the other end of the political spectrum there are left wing organisations who make counter claims and an informative magazine is the New Statesman. Where the figure I quoted came from. I cant find the article but it was a piece about the future inequality world wide and the rate at which we are heading towards it.
Data is not written in stone. What you claim is likewise not based on all facts but just those required for a report. The truth will never be known that is the biggest problem.

Yes. I regard wealth inequality as the single most important cause of human misery. The fact that someone can afford to buy and maintain a 300 million dollar yacht without making a difference to his net worth while millions of children starve to death should be unacceptable.

True. This is not a justification for simply pulling them out of one's arse. What we should do instead is to find sources for the ones we assert, then argue which are more accurate. You have failed to do any of that.
