So, will Biden pardon Trump for the sake of national unity?

Hope not. Trump would take it as acknowledgement that he had done nothing wrong when in fact he and his family should be heading to a court for judgement for crimes against humanity.

Trump needs to be impeached. That way he can't hold federal office anymore. I want him sent to Florida, he can run for governor 2022.

States must hire the best stage coach drivers and express stops with changes of horses now, to get votes in by Dec 23
December 14
Electoral votes cast.
In law this date is the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December. This year it falls on December 14. Six days after disputes are supposed to be settled, electors are supposed to meet in their respective states and cast votes for US President. They certify six sets of votes and send them to Washington. Many states have laws requiring their electors to support the winner of their state's election and can levy fines against faithless electors who go their own way.
December 23
Electoral votes must arrive in Washington.
The certified electoral votes have nine days to get from their states to Capitol Hill.
If the state has some railroad tracks, they can send a state team by train to deliver electoral votes to...I think the senate.

Impeach again. He does not need to be president to be impeached. Take his pension away.

Electoral College doesn't vote till Dec 14th so it's not official until then. If SCOTUS throws out the late ballots then Trump could still win.
Am I wrong for really, really wanting to see that? Just for the lulz?
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

There's only a few ballots that arrived after the election closed.
Wouldn't change the end result. But would mean preventing overseas military from voting. Would that really be some message they want to send?

I want them to follow the law, whatever that law is. If state law says "ballots must be in by election day" then anything after that, military or otherwise, needs to be thrown out. If it says "ballots can come in up to a week later" then that's fine, but you cannot change legislated law to suit your partisan whims.
SCOTUS ruled correctly in the Wisconsin case, the state Supreme Court cannot change legislative law. The same should happen in Pennsylvania and every other state.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Scotus does not throw out ballots. They did not throw out ballots with Bush Gore, and that was the only time they got involved. They ONLY decided on the matter of the RECOUNT, not the first count. State supreme courts may get involved as this is more a state matter.
The Florida decision was interfering with the state run recount. The SC objected to certain counties being recounted. If the state had ordered a recount of every county, SC would have been OK with that. More costly for the state.

The same Supreme Court upheld the extension in Pennsylvania and North Carolina. So there must be differences in what the state laws say.
Again, as far as I understand the number of ballots that would be affected isn't big enough to make a difference.

The SC involvement is minimal, dealing with bill of rights issues in the constitution. Racial issues are no longer used as the voting rights act is dismantled. Governors could discard provisional ballots. Often you have only 72 hours to show up with IDs and lease or other proof of address. State courts deal with poll organizers, state administrators, polls closing esrly and all that.
My voting is run by a bureaucrat and possibly a board.
