They are certainly to the left of the two largest partners in the Dutch current coalition government, the conservative VVD (People's Party for Freedom and Democracy), and the second largest, the centrist CDA (Christian Democratic Appeal) which won 21.3% and 12.4% respectively of the popular vote in the most recent general election 2017.
