We did the whole curfew thing in Melbourne. Just before it was going to be challenged in the High Court, it was removed. The odd thing is that the court action is still going ahead. I suppose if the curfew was declared illegal in retrospect, anyone fined over breaches of it could get a refund...

Well, I don't know if it's going to be challenged, at least some voices on the air I heard underlined strongly that it was legit as pe the emergency law voted in March.. but the eating and drinking, hostelry, and show industries, already sorely hit by all the changes that went with the lockdown, are up in arms at what they call a deliberate attempt to close them down.

Blame the people that didn't behave carefully enough and are the cause of rising case numbers.
