It's beginning to appear more likely that Trump will be issuing a pardon for Michael Flynn, since Flynn's lawyers and Barr's Department of Justice are not getting the desired result in court. I'm not going to waste any time trying to figure out what that signifies in regard to the vague, nit-witted conspiracy theory that is the topic of this thread.

'Appeals court rejects Flynn's effort to dismiss charges'
A federal appeals court rejected Michael Flynn's effort to force a judge to immediately dismiss the charges against him, overturning an earlier decision that would have allowed the Department of Justice (DOJ) to drop its case against the former national security adviser.
The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 8-2 against Flynn's petition for it to step in and force a district judge to grant the Justice Department's motion to drop charges without holding a hearing on the issue.
The circuit court also denied Flynn's argument that the judge overseeing his case be forced to recuse himself. The former three-star general's legal team had argued that Judge Emmet Sullivan acted improperly by appointing outside counsel to argue against the DOJ's sudden decision to drop its case and by asking the full circuit court to revisit the earlier decision by a three-judge panel.
Flynn's attorney did not immediately respond when asked for comment.
Unless Flynn's lawyers appeal to the Supreme Court, Sullivan will be able to move forward with a hearing about the DOJ's unusual reversal in the case, before deciding whether to allow the Trump administration to withdraw its charges against the president's former close aide.

No need for a Trump pardon. AG Barr dropped the Flynn case because he plans on prosecuting the people involved with the Flynn case but does not want to tip his hat yetL'Emmerdeur wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2020 4:56 pmIt's beginning to appear more likely that Trump will be issuing a pardon for Michael Flynn, since Flynn's lawyers and Barr's Department of Justice are not getting the desired result in court. A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

Damn, you had to go there. Since you did though, I think your inference is probably correct: Barr is a bottom.

Re: Spygate is unravelling
A Deep State operative brought in to meddle with proper justice for Lt. General Flynn has issued a report. The report says about what you'd expect, being written by such a horrible person.
'Court-appointed adviser blasts "corrupt" DOJ move to drop Flynn case'
'Court-appointed adviser blasts "corrupt" DOJ move to drop Flynn case'
Former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s lies to the FBI are so clear — and their effect on the FBI’s Russia probe so obvious — that the Justice Department’s decision to drop the case can only be a pretext to help an ally of President Donald Trump, a court-appointed adviser to Judge Emmet Sullivan argued Friday.
In an unsparing, 30-page brief, John Gleeson, tapped by Sullivan to argue against the dismissal of the case, suggests that the Justice Department’s arguments for letting Flynn off the hook conflict with its positions in other cases — and even in earlier rounds of the Flynn case itself — and therefore can only be chalked up to Trump’s pressure campaign.
“There is clear evidence that this motion reflects a corrupt and politically motivated favor unworthy of our justice system,” wrote Gleeson, a former federal judge in Manhattan who was appointed by President Bill Clinton.
Gleeson, acting as an "amicus" or friend-of-the-court, also faulted the Justice Department for not grappling in any way in its brief with Trump's numerous statements blasting the criminal case and their potential impact on the decisions of prosecutors and their bosses.
"The government’s failure to defend its own pretextual reasoning is matched by its silence on the subject of abuse of power," the ex-judge added. "The government makes virtually no effort to deny or rebut the powerful evidence that its...motion improperly seeks to place this Court’s imprimatur on a corrupt, politically motivated favor for the president’s friend and ally."

Adopting for a moment the pose of dementia which initiated this thread...
It was a horrible miscarriage of justice--the poor man was a victim of plain entrapment by the FBI. Who knows what terrible things those Deep State monsters threatened him with to coerce him to plead guilty, twice.

Re: Spygate is unravelling
This happened yesterday. It is being seen as confirmation that Barr is trying to influence the investigation, though the prosecutor who resigned didn't say so directly.
So when's the interview?Nora Dannehy, Connecticut prosecutor who was top aide to John Durham’s Trump-Russia investigation, resigns amid concern about pressure from Attorney General William Barr
Federal prosecutor Nora Dannehy, a top aide to U.S. Attorney John H. Durham in his Russia investigation, has quietly resigned — at least partly out of concern that the investigative team is being pressed for political reasons to produce a report before its work is done, colleagues said.
Dannehy, a highly regarded prosecutor who has worked with or for Durham for decades, informed colleagues in the U.S. Attorney’s office in New Haven of her resignation from the Department of Justice by email Thursday evening. The short email was a brief farewell message and said nothing about political pressure, her work for Durham or what the Durham team has produced, according to people who received it.
Durham, who has never even acknowledged that Dannehy was in Washington working for him, had no immediate comment on the resignation.
Durham recruited Dannehy to join his team after he was appointed by Attorney General William Barr more than a year and a half ago to examine the FBI’s legal justification for a disputed counterintelligence investigation that looked for ties between President Donald J. Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russian efforts to meddle in the election.

'"Obvious Propaganda": Experts Blast Trump DNI for Declassifying "Unverified" Anti-Clinton "Russian Disinformation"
The Director of National Intelligence, pro-Trump former MAGA congressman John Ratcliffe, has just declassified and released what is being described as “unverified” Russian chatter and “disinformation” that suggests Hillary Clinton may have been in touch with the Russians in an attempt to help her 2016 presidential campaign.
Ratcliffe, just hours before Tuesday night’s presidential debate, sent a letter to Republican Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham, who is facing his own major re-election challenge.
The letter claims in 2016 “U.S. intelligence agencies obtained insight into Russian intelligence analysis alleging that U.S. Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had approved a campaign plan to stir up a scandal against U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump by tying him to Putin and the Russians; hacking of the Democratic National Committee.”
The DNI’s letter then clearly says the intelligence community “does not know the accuracy of this allegation or the extent to which the Russian intelligence analysis may reflect fabrication.”
The Director of National Intelligence heads all 17 U.S. intel agencies and offices.
