We have a city of less than 300 000 and a county of 320 000. There are 4 cases and none of those are in the hospital.
The new case, announced late Friday afternoon, is a man in his 30s who is self-isolating. The Health Department is investigating any community contacts.
The Health Department is now monitoring 172 individuals and reports 181 negative tests.
Earlier, Gaylor Baird briefed a virtual audience of reporters that Lincoln’s parks and trails are still open. City officials are encouraging people to use them, but some restrictions on park use were announced. (no playgorund use)
It is about the lowest level of infection there is other than some parts of Idaho. But even Idaho has about three times as many cases now, with a slightly smaller population ( almost 1.8 million) compared to our 1.9.

We are still in the business of growing your food and some animal feed and ranching. Farmers have not been affected yet as far as supplies go. We also process foods as our main industry. I was not able to read past the paywall:
Who’s left in Conagra Brands’ remaining buildings downtown, and what do those 1,300 people do?
(no answer)
The company has plants all over. Some tweets:

https://twitter.com/ConagraBrands/statu ... 3205571584
leading to
Our plants are currently operating effectively and efficiently. We are making more of the products that are in high demand so that stores can provide people with the food they need during this unprecedented time. The teams in our facilities take great pride in operating with safety top-of-mind, including the safety of one another and of the food we make. To assist our employees, we are paying anyone who needs to be away from work due to a COVID-19 related illness. Additionally at our more than 50 facilities, full-time employees in the U.S. will receive a $500 bonus and part-time employees will receive a $250 bonus, with similar amounts provided to employees in Canada and Mexico, in recognition of these team members' relentless efforts to make and deliver much-needed Conagra Brands food to millions of consumers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

One by one the disciples commented on the stench and the flies, and maggots, and crow pecked eyes. Then Jesus stopped and said, "Look at its teeth, they're so glossy and wondrously white, so much nicer than any of ours..."
That's no wonder. They didn't have dentists back then.

I wonder how the mariticide cases are adding up during the pandemic? Will there be a wave after it? And even divorce at this time seems like a bad idea, you want to keep indoors in a stable housing situation.

I've banned the show "Wives With Knives" on the boat.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

For one, a dear friend who has a career in criminal defense law. He is well aware of where many people will be staying - often with others who are equally likely to lash out.
Holy fuck it's dark to think about.

World wide figures this morning for a population of 7,8 billion. That is a town the size of Lichfield in the West Midlands of England.
