Several for our states have "closed" their borders, in the sense that anyone coming into the state by air or road from another state must self-isolate for 14 days, freight and essential services being exempt. The strong advisory is simply not to travel at all, only go out for food (alcohol is a major food group, of course) or medical reasons, go for walks with no more than one other person, lots of places simply closed, with take-away food shops an exception for the moment.laklak wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 2:42 amPence says FDA is approving it for off-label use against the virus.
New Yorkers being met at the airports by Florida National Guard. They're fleeing the shithole they live in like fucking rats. I'd close the state borders, only residents get in, anyone can leave.

I've run hilariously (I hope) out into the fresh snow (knee-deep, varying crust) while running past people, but there are too many pinch points in the singletrack. A friend is promoting the idea that we use it clockwise on certain days, anti-clockwise on others.
To combat the pandemic government will have to get larger and more intrusive. That will need careful handling in the long run
Boris Johnson’s declaration of war on an invisible, elusive and advancing foe was long overdue. His reluctance to wage an effective campaign left the nation dangerously exposed to the deadly threat coronavirus posed. The prime minister had given the impression that this episode was a test of Darwinian fitness for the public and it would be possible to get through it without any upheaval to the post-election order. That was a substantial error of both judgment and ideology, the scale of which was laid bare by the government’s own analysis that an unmitigated epidemic could lead to 510,000 deaths.
No, they're literally closed to all non-essential travel. You won't be let in if you don't have an exemption.JimC wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 2:53 amSeveral for our states have "closed" their borders, in the sense that anyone coming into the state by air or road from another state must self-isolate for 14 days, freight and essential services being exempt.laklak wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 2:42 amPence says FDA is approving it for off-label use against the virus.

Drink and smoke weed AFTER your run. That will reduce collisions.
