Re: The Coronavirus Thread
Just fucking let it run it's course. It's not killing many people under 70 or 80 and us old fuckers are expendable, we're just a drain on resources anyway. No need to destroy the fucking economy of the entire world to keep a few old farts alive.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Re: The Coronavirus Thread
After listening to the Rogan show last night, it seems that is EXACTLY the plan. Well, not so much 'plan' as reality.
There will be measures worth taking, but stopping it isn't going to be as easy as asking people to stop 'transmitting' it around.
I wonder if it will negatively affect the protest industries...

Re: The Coronavirus Thread
They are recommending washing your hands with alcohol-based sanitiser, to avoid the hand to mouth transferral of the virus because alcohol breaks down the virus structure. I'm taking that one step further, just to be on the safe side.

Although it may look like a forum, this site is actually a crowd-sourced science project modelling the slow but inexorable heat death of the universe.

Now you make me wish Trump rallies were as popular as your president keeps claiming.

What claim did he make, that you fairly dispute?

Take care of yourself. This virus is after people with problems of the respiratory tract.Scot Dutchy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 6:48 amThe American government has not got a clue about numbers because there is no government run testing system. Most tests are carried out privately and results are not recorded and because of the pressures to keep on working many people are walking around that should be self-isolating.

Africa, like the honey badger, don't give no fucks about no corona virus. The Ebola will kill it.

The US is a collection of states like Europe. Europe does not list a Europe total, they go by country.NineBerry wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 6:30 pmTake care of yourself. I was alarmed to learn that obesity is an added risk factor. That seems to make Canada even less safe. (ditto for the US, as they have a numerous obese population)
