He won't be able to do much, even as President, without cooperation, but with a big enough win, he might get it.

It's funny, in the sense that it would be voting for 'Secret Deep State v2', whos only platform is to remove 'Secret Deep State v1'.
Reminds me of when a former president was mocked for spending huge bucks on an invisible airplane.

I think Sanders and Warren would both come up with some healthcare plan. But the drug company related changes are unlikely to come true. The very same companies market to US and Europe. In fact the products are identical. They should look at how the pricing deals work there. Currently they charge us more. Because they can. But also the patents and their expirations are the same. To make as much income as before they would just declare world wide flat prices. A patent IS a monopoly.

...says the poster who cites "instagram (dot com) but it could have been another meme space" as evidence of Trump's rising popularity, relies on a carefully edited interview to report on who said what, repeats something he "heard a commentator say" and frequently doesn't bother with any sources at all.
You owe me another irony meter, Daggles.

I don't have to cite memes to show Trump's popularity. You can see it in crowds, if you want a quick example. (compared to the fantasy world where everyone thinks he's hated universally)
You keep acting like you know something I don't. You might, but it isn't all that convincing. I find that Giuliani guy WAY more convincing, and his clarity is backed up by documents. It's like he's a law professional with governing experience. Rather than some dude I've enjoyed for years on the interwebs.
That's a source. He is pointing to some doc (302, if I remember the meme) which alleges that Obama was asked to...well, nevermind. It's coming from the 'far-right' so it can't be important, right? Maybe you should see if Trump and Russia colluded again. THAT would be news!
...and laugh all you want, JimC, but do you think my predictions are shit? Then what are yours?
I still think the best chance the Dems have right now, is if Bloomberg and Sanders find a way to team up, or if the Sanders/Warren/Klobachar Throuple goes for it. Though that Hill chick is making freaks look bad...

Re: US Election 2020
You did not make your counterfactual assertion regarding Trump's allegedly increased popularity after the Republicans voted against his impeachment from the reading of crowds. Moreover, as a defender of Trump you're better off arguing that crowds are poor indicators of popularity.

Personally, I regard polls as more reliable indicators of popularity. The more the merrier. Of course polls do come with their own problems, but compared to them, gauging popularity by looking at the size of crowds is almost as bad as reading tea leaves or coffee grounds.
Can you provide a link to someone saying that Trump is hated universally? I am sure that even his most ardent opponents are aware of the extent the voting public approves of him. They do check relevant sources, such as FiveThirtyEight, which as of yesterday gives him an approval rating of 43.3%.

Re: US Election 2020
So 'universally' was overstating it.
I think I once heard someone here say something positive about his work...who was that again?
No biggie. I still think the Dems have been embarrassing themselves, and need something dramatic to happen. (is Iowa finished counting yet? Can someone who can't fake a primary while holding ALL the cards run executive over roomfuls of disagreeble politicians?)

Re: US Election 2020
The Democrats to me seem like a house divided, and it is quite possible that Trump may win.
See, Cunt? My strong dislike of Trump doesn't alter my cool, rational predictions...

So make one! Who is going to run for the dems?
The conventional Bloomberg/Sanders ticket?
Or the progressive Sanders/Klobachar/Warren 'Presidential Throuple'?

Re: US Election 2020
Wait - Bloomberg might get burnt in the Epstein investigative fire...depending when that comes to fruition, it might take him out of the race...
Sanders/Mayor Pete? Pete was a Sanders supporter back in the day, or so the memes would have you believe...

That would have been you. You mentioned that Trump has taken action against human trafficking, or something like that, but you provided neither details nor links. When you do I'll be interested in discussing this positive work of his with you. And any other, provided you find sources to back them up with, for that matter.
