The corruption is in large part in our assumptions and how they're manipulated. e.g. If Biden is leading it may be more because of how the story is told than anything to do with our inclinations towards sexism. Just look at how popular Sanders supposedly is vs how he often polls.

Two wars resulting in hundreds of thousands of dead, the creation of DHS and ICE, the USA Patriot Act and mass surveillance on US citizens, tried to ban gay marriage at the federal level, deregulated the banking industry, cut taxes on the rich even while getting us into two wars, gave us the 2nd worse recession in US history...
