I came back because apparently there was some kind of kerfuffle that I wanted to check out for myself and form an informed opinion on. But then I got bored with that and just started posting instead

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

What did they do to Jennifer Aniston? Those bastards, I'll kill em.
Where have you been the past 5 or something years?
I've been out of touch with popular culture for a long time. But I know Jennifer Anniston is the sweetest, cutest looking thing.

I saw the interview on TV. Here is a write-up about it online.
Brad Pitt for mayor!
Pitt's interview with Ann Curry aired on Thursday's 'Today' show, and New Orleans' most prominent Katrina rebuilder thanks to his Make it Right Foundation joked about running for mayor of the Louisiana town, as locals have taken to wearing "Brad Pitt for Mayor" T-shirts.
"I don't have a chance," Pitt told Curry. "I'm running on the gay marriage, no religion, legalization and taxation of marijuana platform."
Pitt and partner Angelina Jolie's answer about whether they will ever wed has been, for years, that they will get married when gay marriage is legalized.
The reformed family man also recently told Parade that he used to smoke "grass."
Say what you want, but I'm impressed he said that on national TV.

I too am impressed. Lately he seems to be speaking out more and more against religion. As a celebrity, I give him huge kudos for using his celebrity well.
And, for his fans, you may be pleased to know that he will be on the Bill Maher show tonight.
My only complaint is that silly hat and goatee he has been sporting lately. Otherwise, I agree he's babe i licious!

I'm impressed because he's actually a half-way decent actor despite the 'pretty boy' label hovering over him, and he seems capable of actually thinking.
"The fact is that far more crime and child abuse has been committed by zealots in the name of God, Jesus and Mohammed than has ever been committed in the name of Satan. Many people don't like that statement but few can argue with it."

There are times when I think he must have wandered into Hollywood by mistake. I'd like to see him strut his stuff on stage one day.

Pitt: "When I got untethered from the comfort of religion, it wasn't a loss of faith for me, it was a discovery of self," he says. "I had faith that I'm capable enough to handle any situation. There's peace in understanding that I have only one life, here and now, and I'm responsible."

He's a hot and warm actor, for me. In his smaller films, 12 Monkeys, Seven, Fight Club, he was the ONLY man for those roles. IMHO sparks of genius. But in his generic "hero" roles, Troy, Mr+Mrs Smith, he coasts along and could have been played by any number of actors.
As for him being a non-theist. Fucking "A".
