I have to agree with you on this. The belligerent tone of some of the louder critics of the right has become highly intolerant of anyone not ‘on message’ and willing to take the same tone and approach as them. I’m not pointing at Ani in particular, but the approach that ‘if you aren’t as shrill and angry as us, you are against us’ is something one comes across quite a lot these days. I don’t like it one bit.

Ani and I know we're fundamentally on the same side, and to some extent this forum is a chance to get things off our chests. But Capital tries to set the tone and agenda of everything in society - even for the people who oppose it. How else do you think those for whom Capitalism has clearly failed have been persuaded that Fascism--Capitalism on steroids--is a good idea that will improve their lives?
