So apparently Kirstjen Njieljsejn is out because she's not cruel enough for the Trump administration. Who the hell are they going to replace her with, Adolf Eichmann's reanimated corpse? Palpatine? Blofeld?

She was a nazi anyway, so good riddance to bad rubbish. Somebody should punch her on her way out.
“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. ... The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar

I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen J. Gould

Re: All Things Trump: Is it over yet?
Trump can only win 2020 by repeating 2016. Unlikely he will "energize" new groups.
He really has no other strategy anyway. So he can go down defending his holy cause. We will hear him tweeting about walls and Mexico and gangs and all that till he dies in 2025.
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2020-e ... gy-n991896MSNBC's Steve Kornacki wrote in an analysis for NBC News last week that Trump's approval ratings are virtually inelastic — that most Americans' views on the president aren't subject to change — which could lead to the conclusion that Trump's best shot at re-election is to find non-voters who agree with him and drive them to the polls.
Kornacki approached the question of Trump's chances, which seem tough on one level because he's lost ground in polling in key Midwestern battlegrounds that he won in 2016, as a two-part problem for the president.
"His victory came even though large majorities of voters didn't like him personally, didn't believe he had the temperament to be president and didn't think he was qualified for the job. Trump wouldn't be president unless at least some people who held all of these negative views of him voted for him anyway," Kornacki wrote. "To win re-election, he’ll probably need this to happen again.
He really has no other strategy anyway. So he can go down defending his holy cause. We will hear him tweeting about walls and Mexico and gangs and all that till he dies in 2025.

Is it true that Trump does not draw a salary?
Re: All Things Trump: Is it over yet?
A token gesture. It's a pittance compared to the amount he's fleecing the US tax payer for.

Every Florida trip costs the American tax payer $3 million.

Re: All Things Trump: Is it over yet?
He donates it to different causes every few months. He is wealthy enough that it IS a token gesture.
I wonder how many of his peers do the same? I mean, many of them got very wealthy working in public service, so they surely CAN...
