I think it's clear Mueller did a pretty thorough job. If it finds no evidence of Trump malfeasance, then I'm happy to accept there wasn't any.

I won't be surprised if the report unearths no technical illegality directly attributable to Trump. He may have murmured "who will rid me of these troublesome democrats", but nothing may be able to be proved...

So no collusion.

...and the conspiracy theorists who stuck to the 'RUSSIA COLLUSION' story since the beginning...what will they do?

Oh, right, keep on believing.

Why is the investigation about Trump, and not instead about a crime, and who committed it?

Oh, right, because it wasn't about a specific crime, but about STOPPING TRUMP.

Orange-man bad anyway, right? If Mueller had found Trump-Russia collusion, you would all accept his report. If he doesn't, you just say he didn' report good enough...

Even if Trump was implicated in some illegalities, it's doubtful he'd be indicted. The DOJ holds that a sitting President can't constitutionally be indicted, and Mueller is a by the book kind of guy. At least he had an impact from a counterintelligence standpoint.

Yep. Everyone around him is guilty, and only a total numpty would believe that the guy at the center is innocent, but he'll probably get away with it for lack of evidence. The good news is that many parts of the investigation have been farmed out to different agencies, and more investigations have been started in the House, so this isn't nearly over. Unfortunately this all will drag on for years, allowing Trump to finish his term.

IMO, he should be impeached and imprisoned along with his partner in crime Michael Cohen, but the Dems would need a few Republicans to give a fuck about the rule of law, and we all know that ain't going to happen...

Because of this, I now wish that Trump identifies as a woman, and sings this to the Democrats, IN the fucking HOUSE.

I am hoping he'll remain POTUS for the remainder of the current term. Who'd be the next president if he didn't?

Are you talking about Pence? As bad as he is, I'd take him over Trump.

Pence will get more things done than Trump ever will, and none of those things will be nice.

Pence is a total wimp. He will propose all kinds of holy roller shit, but he has no power. Democrats can easily control him. Another Gerry Ford.

I seriously doubt it. Child separation, the full on assault on the environment and the agencies tasked with protecting it, the constant attacks on the free press, pulling out of the Iran deal and the Paris accord, the stoking of bigotries that have likely played a role in the drastic increase in hate crimes and right-wing violence that we've seen since he took office, shutting down the government for a month and then declaring a national emergency over his stupid wall, etc, etc. This guy is the most divisive president I've ever seen, and he doesn't give a shit about norms, standards, or laws, and he's shown a willingness to do whatever the hell he can get away with. Pence is just another run of the mill jesus freak. I doubt he would have done all this stuff...
