https://www.politifact.com/facebook-fac ... illegal-i/Claim about 63,000 Americans being killed by illegal immigrants is still wrong
By Ciara O'Rourke on Wednesday, January 9th, 2019 at 5:24 p.m.
As the deadlock over funding of a border wall drags on, an already-debunked claim about the dangers of immigrants is getting new attention.
"On Sept. 11th, 2001 2,996 people died," reads a Dec. 31 Facebook post. "Since 2001, 63,000 of us were murdered by illegal aliens. That’s equal to 21 9/11 attacks."
This post was flagged as part of Facebook’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed. (Read more about our partnership with Facebook.)

It sounds like he is efficient at meetings. Pelosi could use some more rejection in her life. She's about to be president (ANY time now, Trump will be impeached, then everyone will discover that Pence has been dead for years, THEN there will finally be a female president!) which will turn the USA from a third world shithole, into the land of milk and honey.

You don't know what you're talking about. The program began in January 2016 and was shut down by Trump in June 2017. In total 952 families were enrolled.Forty Two wrote: ↑Thu Jan 10, 2019 1:12 pmLOL - there were like 630 families in that program over several years. Wonderful. Those entering that program were very specifically chosen folks who were in special need.L'Emmerdeur wrote: ↑Thu Jan 10, 2019 3:04 amUnder the Obama-era Family Case Management Program for family groups seeking asylum at the southern border, there was a 100 percent attendance record at court hearings after release. Trump ended that program.
The detention centers house over 400,000 illegal immigrants a year - 80 times the rate in 1994.
FCMP cost approximately $38 each day per family unit. By contrast, ICE family detention costs nearly $320 per
person each day. For a family of one parent and two children, for example, enrollment in FCMP costs a fraction,
or 4%, of family detention costs for the same family. For that family, 20 days enrolled in the FCMP costs $760,
compared to $19,200 in an ICE family detention center.

630 at the time ended. 952 total enrollment. It was a tiny program. And the cost of the detention program vs. the cost of the FCMP are apples to oranges, as the FCMP helped the participants get government benefits as part of what the FCMP did. That $38 a day cost is not the total cost of each person, as things like food and shelter (paid for in the cost of the detention center) were paid for via welfare, food stamps and housing assistance that come from other pockets.
You don't know what you're talking about.
25,000 families entered from Mexico to the US in December 2018. You're going to run an FCMP program for all of them? Nonsense.

Re: Individual-1, a joke or a threat? (talk Trump)
When an inherently dishonest person is confronted with a situation they have a choice. Either own up to the reality of that situation or lie about it. They almost always equivocate or outright lie about it, because that's just who they are.
Saying, 'OK, a part of my plan didn't work out, but I still believe that its main objective is completely worthwhile' would demonstrate honesty and support for the objective. On the other hand saying, 'Oh, you just misunderstood my plan--it wasn't what it plainly sounded like' when in fact the plan was what it plainly sounded like only shows that you don't think honesty is effective in achieving your goal.
'Trump: I never said Mexico would "write out a check" for border wall'

'Trump: I never said Mexico would "write out a check" for border wall'
The attempt to compel Mexico to pay was rebuffed in no uncertain terms by the president of Mexico, who simply told Trump 'no.' So now he wants people to believe his false retroactive narrative. His supporters will believe him while the rest will see the plain fact that Trump is a practiced mountebank who regularly chooses to lie when the truth would actually enhance his image.President Donald Trump said Thursday that he never promised Mexico would literally write a check to pay for a border wall — even though his 2016 presidential campaign said it had a plan to make Mexico fork over the cash.
...
“When, during the campaign, I would say Mexico is going to pay for it, obviously I never said this and I never meant they are going to write out a check,” Trump told reporters Thursday.
...
"When I said Mexico will pay for the wall in front of thousands and thousands of people, obviously, they are not going to write a check, but they are paying for the wall indirectly many, many times over by the really great trade deal we just made," he said.
That deal has yet to be ratified by Congress and has not gone into effect.Critics have pointed out that any savings due to the new deal would flow to private businesses rather than the U.S. Treasury, contrary to Trump’s claims.
Trump’s new insistence that he never envisioned Mexico writing a check to pay for the wall is contradicted by a since-archived memo posted on his campaign website in 2016. The memo, titled “Compelling Mexico to Pay for the Wall,” outlines a plan to pressure Mexico to put up funds for a border wall within three days of Trump taking office.
“It's an easy decision for Mexico: make a one-time payment of $5-10 billion to ensure that $24 billion continues to flow into their country year after year,” the memo says, referring to “remittances from Mexican nationals working in the United States.”

Re: Individual-1, a joke or a threat? (talk Trump)
I get the data direct from USCBP not the bullshit nonsense you listen to. In November, 2018, total border apprehensions on the Southwest border were almost 52,000 and in December it was about 60,000. Massive rush to the border.
Total Enforcement Actions (individuals apprehended in between the ports of entry and deemed inadmissible at the ports of entry) for the month of December in Fiscal Year 2019 was 60,782. December marks the third consecutive month of enforcement actions surpassing 60,000. The United States Border Patrol apprehended 50,753 individuals (83.5% of all enforcement actions) between the ports of entry on the southern border. The total number of individuals deemed inadmissible for entry at the ports of entry was 10,029.
In Fiscal Year 2017, CBP averaged 13,210 family units and unaccompanied alien children each month – in Fiscal Year 2019 CBP is now averaging 31,188 a month. That is a 136% increase. December was a record-breaking month for FMUAs apprehended at the border. FMUA apprehensions through December total 75,794 – higher than 5 out of the last 7 years FY totals – exceeding all but FY16 and FY18, but currently tracking 253% higher than FY16 and 280% higher than FY18 for the same time frames. https://www.dhs.gov/news/2019/01/09/dhs ... statistics
Stop fibbing, Tero. The numbers are the numbers.

If he taxes Mexico, that could satisfy many that Mexico had paid for the wall.
If he taxes cash transfers to Mexico, that could satisfy many that Mexico had paid for the wall.
If he uses seized drug money, that could satisfy many.
So I get that you wish he would never have a 'win', but he does win in one important way.
He makes his enemies look like they have no platform other than 'Orange Man Bad'.
If the Democrats had a case to make, they would make it. All they have is a dog-whistle to encourage reactive 'Trump-hate'.
