Moreover, he was only trying to kick the phone out of her hand, but apparently connected somewhere else on her body by accident. Why this jackass is being included in a discussion alongside an assassination attempt and an anti-semitic mass murder is beyond me. That is fucking madness. It's the most pathetic "both sides-ing" I've ever seen.

That content is blocked. But, CNN reported it like this - "But it also appeared to be missing a crucial component for a functioning explosive device.
"What I'm not seeing is enough means to initiate this device, whether by design, whether by accident. I'm not seeing that," he said. "If I'm going by design, (if) it was designed that way, then the individual's motivation was simply to spread fear, instill fear."" Quoting the same guy in the video. It's not a hoax situation, but none of the devices went off, and as noted, they appear possibly designed that way. But, anyway, I think I've fairly characterized that nutcase as a terrorist. He deserves every year in prison he gets, if not worse. If he constructed those devices to detonate, then he is, lucky for the recipients and the country, an incompetent, because these things are not super-complicated. We'll see what shakes out in the end after the full investigation. But, no matter whether constructed to go off or not, he should rot in jail.

Your double standard. It's a common tactic to associate despicable behaviour with a group you don't like and disassociate despicable behaviour from a group you do like. That is precisely what you are doing. You described the kicker as "a leftist pro-abortion protester", and the bomber as a nutcase. The double standard can't be more blatant.

I don't think you're reading my posts. I called Sayoc a nutcase, but he is also a right wing protester. The roundhouse kick guy was a left wing protester, but he didn't look like a nutcase. There is no double standard there.

The ones that associate the despicable behavior of a few people with the entire group are you and a few others. I don't do that. I don't associate the left wing roundhouse kick guy with "all left wing protesters" nor do I call them all nutcases. I think Sayoc is a right wing protester and a nutcase, but he also is not representative of the entire right, is he?
