Re: The Thread of Democrats
You were guilty after cis-gendered, straight, white dude. As such, you were born with Progressive Original Sin. You were born sick, and you are commanded to be well. You cannot ever atone with any personal effort on your part. Your only hope is in Progressive Grace to be bestowed upon you.laklak wrote: ↑Thu Aug 30, 2018 3:49 pmI am ashamed to be a retired, cis-gendered, straight, financially comfortable, white dude. Mea maxima culpa. I have oppressed practically everyone and ignored the Greater Good for most of my selfish, privileged life. None of what I have is due to my own efforts, because I've used public roadways and municipal water. To make matters even worse, I purposely bought "income" properties with my ill-gotten gains and actually charged honest working people rent, because I refused to accept that housing is a Human Right and it was my civic duty to provide it free of charge. I even sold one of the properties for a profit. I am nothing but a petite bourgeoise speculator and oppressor, I can offer no excuses for my anti-social behavior.
For your penance, say 100 Hail Mary Dalys. In nomine Progressivi, et Femini, et SocialJusticy:
“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. ... The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar

And, more violence against political candidates.... https://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2018/ ... ro-valley/ Fuck Trump! Stab the Republicans!
Threaten the Trump rally! Heck, they're Nazis anyway, so good! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... Hotel.html
The rhetoric of hate and violence! Why not assassinate the President? https://www.tmz.com/2018/09/11/secret-s ... kes-booth/
Hey, when Nazis open offices, we burn the Nazi offices down! It's a moral imperative! http://dailycaller.com/2018/09/06/wyomi ... fice-fire/
Nazis are anti-abortion, too! https://pjmedia.com/trending/threats-of ... ion-tweet/
"Starting today and from here on, no elected official ― certainly those in the GOP defending and supporting Trump on a variety of issues, for example ― should be able to sit down for a nice, quiet lunch or dinner in a Washington, DC eatery or even in their own homes. They should be hounded by protestors everywhere, especially in public ― in restaurants, in shopping centers, in their districts, and yes, on the public property outside their homes and apartments, in Washington and back in their home states." Michaelangelo Signorile
If that's the way you want this to be, Michaelangelo and those of similar mind, remember, those you protest have the same rights as you. Perhaps your lunches and dinners will become less quite, and the hounds may arrive at your door, where your children sleep, too. If you want to go that route, and if your opposition are the monsters you say they are, would you really want this "hounding" and driving out with pitchforks and torches to be the new norm? Or, do you think you're protected, entitled to release the hounds, but free from the hounds of your opposition?

It is so easy to see Trump Derangement Syndrome! It may be the best thing about the Trump presidency - the fact that it is SO easy to see who is worth listening to.
The Dems rigged their primaries against their own. Somehow though, pErvinalia needs to jump in to this subject and 'trump up' some vitriol lol

Madness...THIS IS - oops - hang on.
I don't know what this is referring to. I better not join in, in case it is more embarrassing than it looks.
