Here's the news. People who consciously gather under the umbrella of "Incel" are horrible, and they are easily identifiable. They have created their own cant, which helps homogenise them. Every Incel knows exactly what Chad, Stacy, Normie, Roastie, Volcel, Beta, Femoid/FHOT mean. They also agree on who their role models are. Elliot Rodger has been one from the start. Brett Kavanaugh has lit up the Incel sphere in spectacular fashion in the past couple of days as another one when he said he was a virgin during all of his school years and for many years beyond.

It's not that Incels need to be a formal member of any Incel community, though. Elliot Rodger certainly was not, but he was the prototypical Incel, the role model for everyone else who explicitly labelled themselves as an Incel and mirrored Rodger's hateful attitude regarding women.

If there is a list of 'alt-right' identifying people, then that is what they should be called. If not, I treat it as the insult it is. Lots of those terms around to identify the unthinking.
