Surely someone, somewhere, in all those hundreds if not thousands of interviews, would say "ya know, I heard that he and his buddies used to gang rape women all the time". I don't find it credible that it would never come out, or, if it is, then I need to adopt a life of crime because the best investigators the Mighty Feds have make Barney Fife look like Hercule Pierrot.

Why? You just gave a scenario where someone volunteers information about a train from high school. Why would anyone volunteer that information to a fed? Have you ever said someone was a good guy and then remembered something they did that contradicts that statement? Did you run off to volunteer the contradictory information? How many people want to leave high school behind? You know I'm not volunteering anything to a fed. For one I don't know if anyone from back then wants me to.
