It's also perfectly normal. I'm not sure we can avoid it in most circumstances. I'm probably only able to take the other view because of some distance. If I was right there I probably would have had a different reaction. The same is true of those crying racism. Am I supposed to believe that they would have immediately thought racism if they had been watching it in person? I don't think they would have. It is only the distance and also the time to think and the new information coming in that allows racism to become a question of motivation etc.

The same holds true of my position and maybe we should be more sympathetic to the player as well for the same reasons.

It doesn't bother me, other than it detracting from the tennis. The biggest concern is the example it sets for the younguns. Adults are supposed to be adult.
