Limited usefulness... those things imply that the target would be carrying the schoolbag at the time of the shooting, and would be able to interpose it between itself and the shooter... bulletproof apparel and headwear would be a much more efficient solution to the problem...

Do you think I can get away with campaigning to encourage would be shooters to choose worthwhile targets? Why not? Is it not a viable solution? I mean, if we're not going to get rid of guns, and as a country we sure as hell support shooting all kinds of people, then what would be wrong with establishing a non-profit aimed at encouraging would be shooters to shoot the right people?

I've been thinking about this for a long time actually.

Point system. 50 points for a state politician, 100 for a fed. Hummer drivers get you 25, anyone taking a selfie is 15. 2000 points gets you a Kewpie Doll, or you can save up 5000 for a Red Lobster 2-4-1 coupon.
