Are you trying to give 42 a heart attack?

I see 42's hero, Alex Jones, is tweeting that the Democrats plan to start civil war part 2 tomorrow.

That's fantastic!
“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. ... The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. Re: Problematic Stuff
Your judgement may be premature and off the mark. We don't know what led up to that outburst. For all we know it may have been provoked by the youth mouthing off about what Trump will do to losers like the bloke who happened to walk past him at the time. You know, a throwaway comment made in the wrong place at the wrong time. The exuberance of youth often does lead to entirely spontaneous words of actions, bereft of all considerations concerning possible consequences. Spirit of the moment stuff that many of us increasingly refrain from as we mature.Forty Two wrote: ↑Thu Jul 05, 2018 12:41 pmThe rhetoric from the left must be causing people to think they can do this without repercussion. https://news4sanantonio.com/news/local/ ... -again-hat

It may have been the person who had the drink thrown in his face who felt unduly privileged.

Re: Problematic Stuff
I was being sarcastic about the "rhetoric" being the cause. Of course it isn't. Either you're right, and the guy responded to some rude comment (which doesn't justify stealing the hat or throwing the drink), or the guy responded to the mere presence of the hat. Either way, the guy who made off with the hat is exercising a kind of privilege. The privilege to steal someone's hat and wave it around as if he was justified in doing so. But that guy who took the hat presents CIS in the video, with traditional male dress and appearance, so he's solidly priviliged no matter what. Maybe he's gay, and would get some points that way, but even if he's hispanic, he looks white hispanic. Privilege meter has him somwhere between 7 and 9 on a scale of 0 to 10. 10 being most privileged. If he was gay-trans, expressing non-binary, black, and hispanic or African, he'dve been solidly 1 on the scale and he could have shot the hat-wearer dead and been justified based on relative privilege.Hermit wrote: ↑Thu Jul 05, 2018 12:59 pmYour judgement may be premature and off the mark. Given what we know about Trump supporters it's likely he told the person to go home, that Trump is in charge now and says you people are all rapists, or something before he did that.Hermit wrote: ↑Thu Jul 05, 2018 12:59 pm

The rhetoric of the right for years has been calling people snowflakes, cucks, Commies, and calling liberalism a mental disorder, among other things. They don't get to play victim now. No way. And they certainly don't get to blame the rhetoric of the left when they retaliate against their own, disgusting rhetoric.

Yeah, the rhetoric of the left has never been to call people stupid, evil, Nazis, suggest that the left is more intelligent than the right, that Republicans are "Repugnicans" in "Amerikkka," that reality has a left wing or "liberal" bias, that they are "basement dwellers," deplorables, fascists, racists, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, Rethugnicans, teabaggers, trumpkins, trumpsters -- with all the insults and slurs from the left directed to the right over the years, I suppose under the Animavore rule it's o.k. to go grab left wing hats and throw drinks in their faces.
This is all new. This kind of thing is just a reaction to the awful right, as the left never did anything bad before.
(I remember CNN and the mainstream media were all over that assault when it happened - white guy sucker-punches black guy -- oh, wait, yeah - they didn't mention it...it's because of the progressive stack, probably.)
