There's a lot of hubris in AI research at the moment on account of a breakthrough that might make it better at doing a particular task with big data. Basically a powered-up expert system that's been around for decades. Could make it better at randomly creating in the style of a artist whose works are numerous like a Picasso, and even then a human would be required to choose between 'interesting' and banal cos the AI wouldn't know.
What will the world be like after its ruler is removed?
