I think we can take one salient point from this: Whether employed, underemployed, overemployed, or unemployed, Work Sucks. I fucking hated it, man. Putting on a tie, dealing with HR drones, attending meaningless management meetings, meeting arbitrary, schizophrenic deadlines set by clueless sociopathic upper management. For maybe 2 hours a day I got to do what I loved and write some code, which is why I got into IT in the first place. But otherwise it was a shit show.
