I've often wondered if bugs could live in the atmosphere of Venus.

At a certain level, the temperature and pressure and gravity in the Venusian atmosphere are pretty much the same as those on Earth. It actually has the most Earth-like conditions anywhere in the Solar System, a few miles off the surface of Venus.

Constant circulation down into the depths would be enough to keep it sterile, I guess.

OK I looked them up, we used to get something almost exactly the same in the Persian Gulf. Looked like a cross between a shovel and a lobcrab thing. They were really cheap and tasty.
