I dont think it is entirely to with male members. I think social media plays a big in the demise of women on this forum. Social media appeals to women more than men. It is the same on all forums I look at.

Why is pErvin's intent and motive important?

It's important because he is a self-avowed troll, who likes to drive people off of forums when he doesn't like them and when they advance the wrong viewpoints (in his estimation). So, when he is working his magic on a thread, it's important to highlight and identify his motive and intent, because it may be consistent with his purpose of tormenting and abusing those he disagrees with (he has also bragged about abusing people).

So, it's not hypocrisy.
