Of world importance rainbow.

Women have always in history been oppressed but there were exceptions. Women are since the 20th century playing catch up but men keep throwing obstacles in the way. The legal world is a good example. Here salaries a fixed to the job. Less and less is appearing on the application form. Sex, name and age dont appear on the internal version of the application form. It is decided purely on merit. In small companies this unfortunately cant happen and the prevailing discriminations still operate.
Women are slowly gaining parity and the sight of house fathers is becoming more common. Even when both are working it is normal that both take part time work in order to look after the home equally. Part time working is very common here. The Dutch love free time.

In passing I retired over five years ago now but for at least three or four years prior to that all application forms went to selection panel stripped of any reference to the gender and age of the applicant. I used to do a lot of recruiting and I can honestly say I was never swayed by the gender of the applicant.

It is removed as is the name. Maybe you weren't but it was common. Team profile etc.

What's the bet that this triggers certain right leaning snowflakes?

It's an excellent idea, by the way. I don't think we are doing that yet in Australia, at least not in a widespread fashion.

Not necessarily a good thing for the applicants. It's likely to mean a lot of people going for interviews for jobs that they never had any hope of getting.
Unless you can think up some sort of interview that hides the age and sex of the applicant.

There is one way of thinking about this that suggests that if women are at bottom in all respects equal to men, then how would things have resulted in men being able to oppress women? Wouldn't it have been just as likely that men would get oppressed by women, all things being equivalent?

"Given room?" Does a person who is just as strong as another person have to wait for the other to give room? :thinks:
I suspect this flows from the one clear area that women on average are inferior to men - violence and aggression. When all else fails, a man can always fall back on violence to get his way (on average). So it doesn't have to be "women... at the bottom in all respects to men..". It only has to be in one respect.
Now you're suggesting that there is only one sphere where men dominate over women?
Your reading comprehension is getting worse (I didn't think that was even possible). Please show me where I said that there is only one sphere where men dominate women.
Please, clearly, without equivocation, deflection and evasion, describe the substantial difference between your use of the words "sphere" and "area." I.e. are you suggesting that there is only one clear "area" where women are inferior to men, but there are many such "spheres?" If so, explain the difference. I think that would be where my misunderstanding, if any, would be.
pErvinalia wrote:
But yes, men tend to be more violent and aggressive, mainly because they are larger, have more physical strength, etc. However, women tend to be more manipulative, for the same reason. People work with their strengths.
Women are more manipulative? What scientific evidence do you have to back this up?
What scientific evidence do you have that men tend to be more aggressive? Here's some evidence that women are more controlling and aggressive. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/relatio ... ships.html

Men were also rated as more arrogant and stubborn while women were rated as more manipulative and emotional. https://medium.com/@NikitaCcoulombe/we- ... ddd72ed7bd

"women say they are more emotional and more manipulative than men" http://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2008/08/ ... er-leader/

In my experience, I would say that women are more manipulative because of their tendency to be smaller and less physically imposing. So, they develop a different strength.

So, go bleat and bellow about the racist joke thread, or some other "bigotry" around here. You make your silly observation, but you don't bother asking the person you're calling a bigot why he is interested in the topic.

Who cares? Aside from you, we all know the type of person Cunt is.
LOL, "type of person." People know what "type of person" you are, too. And it ain't a good one.

pErvinalia wrote:

Everyone knows of his bigotry. Only you in your utterly biased world could fail to notice it.
No, only you and some select others are douchey enough to be worried about whether Cunt started this thread out of bigotry, rather than perhaps some academic interest, an enjoyment of discussing controversial or inflammatory topics, for shits and giggles, or whatever. I don't care if he is bigotted, because his bigotry or lack thereof doesn't change the question posed.

Just because you think he's a bigot, you feel as if it's warranted to despoil his threads? There is nothing wrong with talking about this topic. And, if someone participating in the conversation does so because they think one sex is superior to the other in a bigoted fashion, then so what? It's still the same topic. And, it's interesting to hear extreme views, too. So, if someone here wants to set forth the bigots point of view, or set forth what the "He-Man Woman Hater's Club" has to say on the topic, so what?

Things a real, actual, man should be able to do:

1) change a tire
2) grill a steak
3) mix a decent martini
4) start a lawnmower (even if you need starting fluid)
5) get an erection (even if you need starting fluid)

I'm sure there are others.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Generalizations say nothing of individual cases, but that doesn't invalidate (or validate) the generalization.

A study published last month confirms just how useless many modern men have become. Only one in five young men would feel confident tackling a dripping tap. Two thirds of millennial males don't know how to change the oil in their car. And just three in ten men are comfortable with the assembly of flat pack furniture.
I have spent a good deal of time rolling my eyes at millennial men who lunge at the Yellow Pages at the first sign of manual labour. I am fully aware that the majority of my friends would be stranded at the side of the motorway if their cars developed a puncture. Indeed, when my last year of university drew to a close, I'm almost positive that I was the only male student in my year to not only own a socket wrench, but to have used it as well.
LOL. Oh, Millennials.... back to the video games with you, I guess!
Men used to fight each other with spears and swords. You're a fucking pussy compared to previous generations. Is that a bad thing? And women are getting manlier with each generation. They used to stay home barefoot and pregnant, and now they're out in the workforce. Is that bad?

Tomi Lahren is a dumb bitch and you're a judgemental fucking dinosaur who can't stomach change.

Apparently it is flying small planes into the tundra to move large drums.

Very important job that.

God I hate those Liberty Mutual commercials, they're obviously directed at metro-beta cucks. They annoy me so much that I wouldn't use Liberty Mutual even if they were cheaper.

Or maybe that should be "beta metro-cucks"?

To properly appreciate it you need the whole commercial, though. Look at that dude in the beginning, all ashamed because he couldn't change his own fucking tire. He should be ashamed, pussy-ass cuck. His wife knows he's a cuck, too.

Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

And at least know how to change oil and jump start a car battery. It's almost uncomfortable to see the guy in the parking lot who has jumper cables, but needs help figuring out where to put the alligator clips, or how to open the hood of his car. It's against protocol to say anything or react, but a look and slight hesitation is enough - you both know what the problem is...

These days, they are one pull and no problemo. But, a better one is knowing what a two stroke engine is and how to own one without ruining it.
laklak wrote: 5) get an erection (even if you need starting fluid)
Remember those days way back when -- erections showed up whether you wanted them or not. The wind blew. Or, the penis rubbed up against the underpants right at the end of class, and you had to limp out of the classroom with your books held in front.... Pup tents were ubiquitous when sleeping. No need to even think about anything sexual to get an erection. They were pretty much on a repeat timer all day and all night.
