problem is that it's not Galaxian territory, it's the way FB and many apps work, unless the power to the phone is actually cut, they tend to work as background tasks and sometimes send signals to mama.

I have a few blogs and it does give the countries of the viewers. My comedy blog has a viewer or bot in Italy (plus one in Poland one in some other nearby..Ukraine?) and my bird pics blog has a faithful Russian follower. I think I have seen Svarty as there are some views from France to one of the blogs.

They can get the address associated with the particular block of IPs that your ISP has assigned to you. In the case of Optus here in Australia that's usually Adelaide, regardless of where you actually live, and with Telstra it's a few more locations, but they have zero correlation to where you actually live.

It would help greatly in this discussion if you guys actually knew what you are talking about.

Just how do you know location is off? It is an app. Just because the symbol is not lit you cant prove it is off.
