Trumps been really good for the economy, hopefully tax reform is next. Oh, and tourism is way up too......
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

Tourism is up worldwide, but in the US, it's documented to be down. It's been called the 'Trump Slump.'

Inbound arrivals have fallen 1.4% since January, while global arrivals have jumped 4.6%, leading many travel industry experts to say the 'Trump Slump' is real. Credit: Nick DeSantis, Forbes

I wouldn't go there. You're too likely to be strip searched, locked up, and/or shot. Or get a sore fist from punching so many Nazis.

No 10 condemns Trump retweeting of UK far-right leader’s anti-Muslim videos

Theresa May’s spokesperson says president was ‘wrong’ to share tweets from Jayda Fransen, who faces harassment charges

Donald Trump has retweeted three anti-Muslim videos posted by the deputy leader of the UK far-right group Britain First, Jayda Fransen, prompting condemnation from Downing Street.

The president’s decision to share the posts by Fransen, who is facing charges of causing religiously aggravated harassment, was described as “wrong” by the official spokesperson of the prime minister, Theresa May.

A statement from No 10 said: “Britain First seeks to divide communities by their use of hateful narratives that peddle lies and stoke tensions. They cause anxiety to law-abiding people.

“British people overwhelmingly reject the prejudiced rhetoric of the far right which is the antithesis of the values this country represents, decency, tolerance and respect. It is wrong for the president to have done this.”

Trump, who has 43.5 million followers on Twitter, retweeted three separate posts by Fransen on Wednesday, which all included separate, unverified, anti-Islamic videos....

I think that Trump knows perfectly well that a fair percentage of his supporters are ignorant and bigoted. He also knows that polls have consistently shown that about 1/3 of the population of the US support him. He cannot afford to lose many of them and he's demonstrated repeatedly that he wants to cater to the bigoted and ignorant.

There's no question that he's rather ignorant himself and it seems very likely that he's genuinely a bigot as well, so it's inevitable that he'll do crap like this. As for reining him in, the wheels of justice turn very slowly if at all when it comes to the wealthy and powerful in the US. It remains to be seen what will happen along those lines, if anything. I'm not holding my breath.

Lol. I predicted earlier this is the route the craven, sycophantic, and worthless White House would take.
But White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders effectively said that it did not matter whether the President was spreading genuine videos or not, since he was trying to make a point about the threat of Islamic radicalism.

"Whether it is a real video, the threat is real," Sanders said

Trump is just a shit on top of an ever growing pile of shit. His supporters should be ashamed, but they're all too afraid to face up to what they've done. Cowards who would rather let the country go to hell than admit they were wrong.

A procession of Republicans have been interviewed on the radio about the President retweeting unsubstantiated videos from from a marginal far-right UK group who are but the latest incarnation of previous groupings already banned as terrorist and/or hate organisations, and every one of them is avoiding the question of whether they think Trump's actions today are problematic, troubling or acceptable.

They all need to resign and disband the party leaving Trump on his own. The Republican/neo-liberal experiment, like the Communist one before it, has failed. Its heartless, me-only philosophy has no place in the World we need to create going forward. Its logical conclusion is ecological disaster, possibly leading to mass extinction.

But not one of them has the moral fortitude for that. They are all stuck in a biblical, pre-industrial view of endless abundance, proferred by people who could never have dreamt of our capacity for mega, ecological harm and resource depletion.

Fools. All of them. Myopic, backward, barely literate fools.

Donald Trump is a madman: The President's Wednesday Twitter spasm confirms what many Americans have long suspected

After his latest spasm of deranged tweets, only those completely under his spell can deny what growing numbers of Americans have long suspected: The President of the United States is profoundly unstable. He is mad. He is, by any honest layman’s definition, mentally unwell and viciously lashing out.

Some might say we are just suffering through the umpteenth canny, calculated presidential eruption designed to distract the nation from special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, or perhaps from unpopular legislation working its way through Congress.

Quite possible. But Occam’s razor, and the sheer strangeness of Trump’s behavior, leads us to conclude that we are witnessing signs of mania.

Early Wednesday morning, Donald Trump or whomever was manning his Twitter account retweeted, seemingly at random, three videos of supposed violence against Christians by Muslims.

And to confirm that.
President Trump reportedly revives birther claims against Obama a year after denying conspiracy theory he fueled

Records show the sheriff in the ‘F*ck Trump’ sticker showdown may be a fraudster.
Just like his shit-weasel hero.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff known for his battle with the woman who plastered a ‘F*ck Trump‘ sticker onto the back window of her truck is making headlines for a different reason.

After the driver of the infamous sticker was arrested, she added a new sticker that said, “F*ck Troy Nehls, and f*ck you for voting for him.”

According to activist news website photographyisnotacrime.org, Sheriff Nehls may have committed fraud by lying on his job application for the Fort Bend County Independent School District.

Specifically, Nehls stated he had never been arrested on the application, but records obtained by photographyisnotacrime.org via a Freedom Of Information Act request show he, in fact, was arrested at the age of 20, in 1988, for underage drinking in Wisconsin.

On a separate application for a job with the Richmond Police Department, Nehls admitted to the arrest. Nehls got the job, but was later fired for committing 19 violations in the space of one year, according to the department’s termination letter, also obtained via FOIA request.

Violations listed in the letter include destruction of evidence, improper arrests, misleading superiors, failure to contact a victim and failure to return property.

Trump shit-stirs further.
Donald Trump has told UK Prime Minister Theresa May to focus on "terrorism" in the UK after she criticised his sharing of far-right videos.

"Don't focus on me, focus on the destructive Radical Islamic Terrorism that is taking place within the United Kingdom," Mr Trump tweeted.

The US president earlier retweeted three inflammatory videos posted online by a British far-right group.

Mrs May's spokesman said it was "wrong for the president to have done this".

The US and the UK are close allies and often described as having a "special relationship".
