Of those white Americans surveyed, only a small percentage say they've experienced discrimination firsthand.

Among whites, 19% said they've "been personally discriminated against" because of their race when applying for jobs, while 11% said it occurred when applying to or while at college. Thirteen percent of whites said they experienced discrimination when being considered for equal pay or promotion at work.

100% of White Americans are discriminated against, it's just that 11% are aware of it. If you're applying for a Federal job, it's the Law that they discriminate against you.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

That's a bit harsh. I don't think you can blame the export of manufacturing industries, first to Japan, then to other countries on those who became the losers of that development unless you regard buying foreign made goods rather than home made ones because they are cheaper and better as a moral failure. The losers are victims of the dynamics inherent in the capitalist system.
