Wtf, Trump is threatening military action in Venezuela now. He's not a war hawk, though...

Old people let Trump loose, to control dangerous liberalism:
"It was overwhelmingly old people who handed Trump the power to end all life on the planet, against the overwhelming wishes of people who will inherit it from them. Young people don’t simply regard Trump as a less-than-ideal steward of their futures, but as a poison forced upon them by elders who have disclaimed any responsibility for bequeathing their offspring a bright and kind and healthy civic life. "

It backfired. The loon is more dangerous.

Poll: Half of Republicans would back postponing 2020 election if Trump proposed it
After many of them spent years of growling to each other about how 'Emperor Obama' was going to cancel the 2016 election to stay in office. Perhaps that was a case of mass projection: "It's what we'd do if we had the chance."
You mean one political party's supporters hold themselves and their political opponents to different standards? No! Perish the thought...
Was there a poll that showed a similar number of democrat voters were in favour of postponing a general election if Obama proposed it?

It's really gotten to the point now where you have to ask if Teump-cultists would drink the Koolaid when it's offered. And I'm afraid the answer is a resounding Yes. Those poor fools will guzzle it up gluttonously like a bukkake chick, letting it drizzle off their chin and all over their chests. I've never in my life come across such a pathetic collection of morons.

Who is going to save us from America? Who is going to go in there and stage a coup and find and arm the opposition? Who's going to install a puppet leader?

America has done this is shit to people for decades. It really is a case of who polices the police.

They'd probably enjoy it, the cultists. Mind-slavery is what they seem to crave. A world with limited and controlled media which only speaks good of dear leader and blocks out all the nasty fake news.

Y'know I used to always defend America against charges of 'dumbness'. I'd point out that these guys are at the forefront of science, that they put people on the Moon and produce much of our technology. Now if I say that they'll say, "Then why do they give people who reject science in favour of promoting dangerous pseudoscience important roles in NASA and the EPA? Why do they have a guy who thinks climate change is false and believes the Earth is 5,500 years old in as the fucking science communicator? Why do they have a woman who thinks the Bible actually happened and probably applauded and swelled with emotion at Jesus Camp in charge of education? Why did they chose a guy who's clearly a crass idiot to be their leader?"

And I have no comeback. No argument. And that, above all, is the part that fills me with an existential sadness.

Speaking of dangerous, pseudoscientific dickheads at the EPA.

He's still got something like 80% support from republicans. What a collection of utter morons. What does it take display incompetence to people like that? :?

The worst part is they've no shame in it. That suggests there is something terribly wrong with them, mentally. They're like serial killers who show no remorse. Or people who watch America's Got Talent without weeping for humanity.

At the forefront of science are Americans of Asian origin: Pakis, Afgahnis, Indians and the occasional Jew. I doubt these people elected Trump.

QFT.

And at the moment that idolatry is increasingly looking like a death cult too.
