You do actually have a point. Try telling a SJW nutter that Islam is oppressive to women and you'll get shit like this in return. I've had arguments with radical lefties who assert that Islamic culture is no more oppressive of women than western culture is. Try suggesting that the Burka is a tool of oppression and you'll really fucking regret it.. :/

It is very tricky, Feck, because so many of the vehement anti-Islam mob in Oz, the ones that demonstrate about stopping a mosque being built for example, are right-wing buffoons whose veneer of being against Islam for rational reasons covers a racist red-neck mentality. The left, in trying to oppose these guys, are far too lenient in their views on Islam.
