Remember when one of the Trump apostles on this site hailed his God because he didn't mention God in his speeches pre-election. Remember that? He actually cited it as one of the reasons Trump Christ was not like the other Repubs. That he was going to break the mold and usher in a new golden era.

I remember.

Heh. This guy says he's an atheist, yet still he believes.

Russian for cunt?
Or does Trump and Putin just say Hillary lol
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

But, irrespective of what Trump thinks, the US has economic leverage. We're a country of 1/3 the population of China with approximately the same GDP, and China is heavily dependent on trade with the United States. That's leverage.
Well, it's a strong economic connection that cuts both ways. It only becomes leverage if Trump can take (or threaten to take) government actions that will harm China's economy more than it harms the US economy.

Without being certain, I doubt that is a realistic possibility.

Don't get me wrong, it would be great if the US (perhaps with support from other countries) could put enough pressure on China so that it, in turn, is forced to clamp down hard on North Korea. But I honestly doubt it is possible, partly because China hates to "lose face"...

(R-Wis.) said on Friday he will not hold public town halls due to concerns over potential protestors coming in from outside districts.

“Aside from the obvious security concerns, what we have found is there are people who are trying to come in from out of the district to disrupt town hall meetings and not have a civil discussion, so what I have been doing is looking for new and creative ways to interact with my constituents in a civil way,” Ryan said, speaking at a Boy Scouts event in Wisconsin.

Terrific bombers!
Weapons of mass destruction!

U.S. Pacific Command said the Lancer bombers took off from an air base in Guam and "practiced attack capabilities by releasing inert weapons at the Pilsung Range."

The Pilsung Range is well inside South Korean territory, but local media reported that the bombers also flew close to the demilitarized zone (DMZ) separating the two countries although they did not enter the zone or cross any demarcation lines.

More on the fraudsters who're wasting precious government money; Il Douche's cunning plan to end the LIHEAP program won't just affect poor people in winter.

'Trump proposes eliminating program that lets poor people cool their homes during heat waves'
If LIHEAP were to be eliminated, some warm-weather states, including Texas, may not have any program at all to help low-income people cool their homes. Last year, Texas ended a program called Lite-Up Texas, that helped low-income families pay electric bills.

Some states could use ratepayer funds, which come from surcharges on regulated energy utilities to fund programs that provide discounts on low-income people’s utility bills. But the problem is that many warm-weather states, such as Arkansas and Mississippi won’t raise rates. These states are often relying on cooling centers, such as community centers, churches, and libraries to keep people safe, which serves as a Band-Aid solution to a problem that could be easily fixed through more funding to LIHEAP.

"Right now there are programs in warm-weather states,' [Mark Wolfe, head of the National Energy Assistance Director’s Association] said. "They’re not well-funded, but there are programs that help among the neediest in those states. If Trump was successful in eliminating money for LIHEAP, people would die because there would be absolutely no money to help them."

The G19 issue a joint communique at the end of the summit and leave the US out on it's own - which of course makes America even greater again.

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

I never in my life dreamed that the country to be first to put a man on the moon, and to explore the other planets, would ever be lumped with such a backward thinking and scientifically irrelevant government.

Thankfully many Americans are side-stepping this pestilent, morally bankrupt government. From businesses and entrepreneurs, governors and senators, a Terminator, and even whole states; the resistance to this evil administration is a testament to a people who won't bow to tyranny. They don't even need guns to destroy these parasites.
