The Lizard Lords will leave me and my ilk alone, as long as we don't make too many waves (and at 7 knots you don't throw much of a wake). They need us. You have to have a relief valve, which we will provide. Yeah, they'll catch a few of us bringing in coke or weed or whatever, but keeping the masses doped up is in their best interest. We'll be the pirates, the buccaneers, the Wild West. We'll provide a romantic, but completely unattainable emotional escape for the workers at the ball bearing factories. If we didn't exist they'd have to invent us.
