There will also be no need to sell properties to fund care during people's lifetimes, with charges taken out of estates after death.

My house is worth a fraction over that limit (110k-120k?). If I have care at home it would seem that my sons could get nothing. So much for providing for one's family.
We live in a financially unstable world where property prices can fluctuate. If we have another 'crash' and my house value falls, does that mean that my sons can have the property? Will there be a 'sliding scale' above £100,000?

I haven't seen enough analysis yet to understand how it will be implemented.

He's in the UK, so even though he's called right wing over there, they're actually to the Left of Obama and the Democrat Party here in the States - the UK being a civilized country and all, with a civilized political spectrum. Over here, the Tories would be in line with, like, the Green Party. Over there, our Democrats would be hounded out of the country as right wing neo-fascists.
