I have not... here we go by the litre; but I've seen plenty litre bottles. I don't know if they do much quart bottling in places where they still use the imperial system.

Provincial authorities across Canada have issued a recall of a popular brand of gin after it was discovered that some bottles may contain 77% alcohol rather than the 40% listed on the bottle.
The province of Ontario was the first to sound the alarm over the batch of bottles from Bombay Sapphire London Dry Gin. On Tuesday, the liquor authority said that an investigation by its quality assurance team had discovered the alcohol content to be almost double what was noted on the 1.14L bottle.

Yep. The metric system is the only sensible way to go. Although over here in the UK we still have our imperial quirks, e.g. Jam used be sold in 1lb jars; now it's sold in 454g jars, er, 1lb...

It's a mixture.
2 litres and then there is 4 pints (2.72 litres). I think we have a litre in milk sizes.
One day we'll get there.

The English and Irish pubs had to give up selling in pint glasses as they did not have the legal Dutch excise marks. They now use half litre glasses but still call them 'pints'.

Tend to find that. The same it true here. We have three major Irish pubs all owned by the same Dutch owner who has no clue about Irish pubs. Guinness is €10 a half litre and it does not come from Dublin but Leuven the AB brewery where it is made from syrup in order to protect the recipe. It is also shit.

It's always nice to see regulators hard at work ensuring that the public is protected from different sized glasses and the absence of excise marks.

I'm not the only one.
The World Trade Organisation does too.
A landmark Australian law on restrictive tobacco packaging has been upheld at the World Trade Organisation after a five-year legal battle, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday, citing two people familiar with the situation.
Such a ruling from the WTO has been widely anticipated as giving a green light for other countries to roll out similar laws, not only on tobacco but also on alcohol and unhealthy foods.
The Australian law goes much further than advertising bans and graphic health warnings enforced in many other countries.
The rules, introduced in 2010, ban flashy logos and distinctive-coloured cigarette packaging in favour of drab olive packets that look more like military or prison issue, with brand names printed in small standardised fonts.
