The Queen's Meeting

Post by Alan B » Thu May 04, 2017 8:05 am

Daily Mirror
Queen calls Buckingham Palace emergency meeting - live updates as all staff recalled to London
A "highly unusual" emergency meeting has been called at Buckingham Palace .

The entire royal household staff has been asked to come to the Queen's London resident at the last minute, sparking fears for Her Majesty and Prince Philip.

The Queen's most senior aides reportedly ordered all staff from royal residences across the country to London, sparking frenzied speculation as to the reason behind the sudden request.

Following reports of royal staff spotted on the roof of Buckingham Palace, social media users shared images showing the Union flag is not at half mast.

She's pulling the country out of Brexit. That would be so funny.

I don't think she can, though.

I know all this from my time living in a shared flat.

Someone took the Queen's Peach & Maracuja yogurt from the fridge without asking, although it had a post-it with her name attached. Also topic for discussion: Why does no one keep the cleaning roster?

There's not going to be a new Kaiser in Deutschland any time soon, that would be war and the end of Europe.

Yeah. It would seem that the ol' geezer is retiring.

I hoped she would announce that she cannot be Queen of a disunited country after Brexit...

Ah, well!
