Yes, but the workforce participation rate has gone up to record highs. You can make the unemployment rate go down by either bringing people back to work, or eliminating people from the workforce. Unemployment refers to the rate of people who are out of work but are looking for work and able to work. When all is said and done, I cannot help but feel resentful to Hillary for losing against Trump.
