Why do liberals hate coal miners? What did they ever do to you? It's just mean.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

It's the blackface.

Coal miners are overwhelmingly white, but they wind up with blackface, which is offensive.
They're also overwhelmingly male, and therefore women and minorities are overwhelmingly disproportionately underrepresented in the coal mines.
Coal miners are privileged members of the capitalist patriarchy. Like white men in general, they just glom off the system which was built to privilege them, and they don't do any real work.

Plus they culturally appropriated Black Lung Disease. Why can't they have their own White Lung Disease? Racists.

There's more jobs in green energy. The real question is why do conservatives hate future tech, hate job creation, hate a clean environment, and seemingly don't give a shit about massive structural damage and loss of life and, ironically given their hatred of immigrants and refugees, show no concern about creating situations that will lead to more of them?

"Green energy" and jobs associated with it are nothing more than socialist government welfare programs for businesses and their employees. Without government subsidies the "green energy" market wouldn't exist because it's not economically viable in a free market.

We'll see. Given the fact that neither of the previous two Democrat crooks and traitors have been hung (Clinton and Obama) I rather doubt your dream will come true because Trump is neither.Tero wrote:Trump is a crook and a traitor. It will all come out.

Donald J. Trump we will fight against you for every single remaining day of your presidency. Stop destroying our environment and wildlife. Update: Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke has ended the federal government’s Obama-era moratorium on coal-mining leases on federal land. Zinke signed an order repealing the pause in leases Wednesday in his Washington, D.C., office, surrounded by Republican lawmakers, lobbyists and staffers. The action implements parts of an executive order that President Trump signed Tuesday

Can't the protesters go, like, to China and protest their coal mines?

Re: Trump and coal mines
What about civilized countries? Germany generates like 45% of its electricity from coal. How DARE they?!
Those sneaky Krauts...
The EU as a whole uses shitloads of coal. Any word on the protests over there?
Same with pipelines. Can't remember a thread about protests against euro pipelines. Must be civilized pipelines. Lol

Re: Trump and coal mines
They are, at least, making a significant move to renewables, and away from coal, though obviously they have a long way to go. Granted, the problems caused by particulate emissions from their coal-fired generators are probably more of a motivation for this change than a desire to ameliorate global warming...Forty Two wrote:Can't the protesters go, like, to China and protest their coal mines?
