Fair enough. I suppose those land grabs did not help either.

White House continues fake claims:

Donald Trump’s health secretary has claimed “nobody will be worse off financially” under the Republicans’ healthcare plan, despite independent analysis that says millions could suffer.

Republicans last week unveiled proposed legislation to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare. Mr Trump has thrown his support behind the plan, despite complaints from hardliners that it provides people with too many “entitlements”.

The independent Kaiser Family Foundation said the bill will offer less help to Americans living in rural areas, the elderly and the poor. The Brookings Institute has projected the Congressional Budget Office will report that up to 15m fewer Americans will be covered under the Republican plan.

The large incorporated insurers and the top 0.1% of earners will be significantly better off under the bill, that's for sure.

There is no way that under Obamacare a 60 year old person making $50k per year gets $13,350 in subsidies. Here is the Kaiser Foundation's calculator - http://kff.org/interactive/subsidy-calc ... -tobacco=0

I entered in a Zip Code for Woodward County, Oklahoma, for a single 60 year old person, non-smoker seeking coverage, $50k income. The result: NO SUBSIDY AT ALL.

So, out of curiosity, I entered in the info for two 60 year old adults and two children, all seeking coverage. The financial help available is $2,352 for the entire family. Now, I'm much younger than 60, and I have a wife and two kids. We pay $13,200 per year for health insurance. If I were in Woodward county Oklahoma, now, under Obamacare, with my current policy, I would be paying almost $11,000 out of my $50k salary for coverage, even with the subsidy.

John Oliver is lying. There is NO FUCKING WAY a person making $50k a year gets $13,000 worth of subsidies. That would be a gold policy almost for free - to everyone making the average family income in the US. Not a chance. Doesn't happen. He's full of shit.

Run the numbers yourselves http://kff.org/interactive/subsidy-calc ... -tobacco=0 Woodward County Oklahoma has a zip code of 73801.

Oliver is absurd. It's just not believable. A guy making $50k a year in rural Oklahoma gets over $13,000 in Obamacare subsidies...? Really? That is total shit.

Looks like Sanders just woke some Trump supporters. More people need to cop on to what a lying, crooked, thieving scumbag he is so they can get rid of the menace and his robber baron friends.

He mentions premiums in 2020. Don't know how this is related to the 2017 calculator. Maybe, in the Affordable Care Act, things were going to change in 2020?

He's talking about Trump and his oligarch, poor people hating friends' replacement for the ACA.
