Who do you mean by 'us' kemosabe? Don't count on minorities to join forces about white man's trouble... they'll either do their thing on their own, or just watch the Man fight with itself.

I'm thinking of registering as Republican for 2018 so I can get the least Trump friendly republican in the Senate. The caucus is closed by party. We don't have Democrats from out state unless they are millionaires funding themselves.

Trump and jews.

You need to add Republicans to that list - the rallying cries: "Show us your tax returns" and "An independent inquiry into Russian espionage". Everyone can get behind those.

That's difficult. Here it's farms, Jesus taxes. When Trump messes with border tax, they may get mad. Now they are just mad at protesting liberals, the farm state Republicans.

Then it becomes a matter of associating seeing the prez's tax returns, or finding out the truth about the extent of Russian interference, with 'American Values'.

"In America we don't elect presidents who've taken money from criminals, shady foreign businessmen or corrupt states. In America we value our democracy and work hard to protect it from interference by foreign powers. It doesn't matter which side of the fence you're on, these are things we all hold to."

This kills the Liberal vs Conservative, Left vs Right, Democrat vs Republican dichotomy before it's even raised.

Our Senators pass all that Trump proposes.

Crooked Trump is getting away with it:
The Republicans who control Congress are already shutting their eyes and closing their ears to the brightly flashing and loudly blaring signs of corruption exploding from Trump’s orbit. House Speaker Paul Ryan has stated in plain terms that he just doesn’t care about the web of conflicts in which Trump is ensnared. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, the chair of the House Oversight Committee who had been planning a sustained blitzkrieg of inquiries into a Democratic president-elect, now finds himself cured of the desire to investigate. House majority leader Kevin McCarthy, who once boasted of the political damage wrought by the investigations conducted under his watch, now frets that congressional inquiries have “harmed the ability for people all to work together.”

What else did you expect? after all, he was indeed elected as a republican, even though seeing that crook in the oval office makes all good men want to puke.
But for some reason, there seem to be few good men in the GOP, mostly power hungry hypocrites instead.

It's time to get organisasized! Irate posts on social media aren't going to change anything - old fashion political organisation is the only way to protect American democracy.

If your members of congress are holding town hall meetings go along and ask them if they agree with John McCain, that a free press is essential to a functioning democracy, and if not why not, and what do they think about the prez calling the news media the 'enemies of the American people'. Ask about where they stand on ACA, how are they going to vote on it, what do they think about the de facto tax-break removing ACA will give corporate healthcare providers, and if they're against it what they think should replace it, and how they see the transition from ACA to a new scheme - or are they in favour of just removing ACA and hoping for something better at a later point, and in that case how long do they think ordinary Americans covered under ACA are going to be without health cover. Ask them about Trump's tax returns and Russian espionage. If they don't think the prez should reveal his tax returns ask them why - every other prez in recent history has, so why is Trump a special case. If they don't think the extent of Russian involvement in American democracy is worth investigating ask them why - the security services are certainly taking it seriously. If they're not holding town halls organise one for them and invite them along. Invite the press. If they don't turn up have an empty chair. put a photo on the empty chair, or a block of lard, and tell the story of how you asked them to attended but they couldn't be bothered to talk to their constituents.

The Senators are just saving their asses. They do not see the danger of Trump. Neither had town halls, both met with backers, businessmen. We chanted chants outside.

Well there's a point to make there Tero: Our elected representatives are accountable to the people who elected them, not the people who paid for their advertising. Even Trump supporters can see that this form of Crony Capitalism is not just side-lining the electorate, but actually shows contempt for the principle of democratic representation. Your elected representatives should have met with their constituents before they even considered meeting their backers. That sort of behaviour stinks of political elitism. Press that point home with Trumps supporters - after all, it's exactly what they voted against. Once you get Trump supporters chanting along with you a better, more functional democracy is significantly closer.

The trouble with this analysis, Brian, rational and humanistic as it is, it makes the assumption that Trump supporters are calm and rational enough to step back and see the broader picture. In truth, many of them, for the foreseeable future, will continue to wallow in the ugly and primitive emotions that motivated their choice of vote, and delight in the vicious attacks on the media and all Trump's other targets.
