Who am I?

Post by Pogue » Mon Jan 16, 2017 7:01 pm

If ‘I’ exist, ‘you’ exist….but from your perspective….’you’ are ‘I’….and ‘I’ am ‘you’. ‘We’ includes, ‘me’, ‘you’, and ‘them’.… but from the perspective of 'them’, am I 'you...or just 'me'?

That great English philosopher John Lennon spoke about this at some length, saying, "I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together," adding, "Goo goo g' joob," for good measure.

I'm going to show you how this works. You see, we can do it like this, and we can do it like that.
I was given a year of free milkshakes once. The year passed and I hadn’t bothered to get even one.

When I get a little confused about shit like this, I reach for my trusty bottle of gin...

And my gin!

It should be what am I, not who am I, for 'who' is a malleable reference mirroring changeable personality associated with random experience.

No, I'm just going through a bored phase over there. I occasionally pop in here for a read and a laugh... saw this thread and was inspired to comment. :tiphat:
