'Hard Brexit greatest job-killing act in Welsh history'

Taking the UK out of the EU single market would be "the greatest job-killing act in Welsh economic history", Plaid Cymru has said.
Several of Sunday's newspapers claim Prime Minister Theresa May will signal the move in a speech on Tuesday.

Plaid's treasury spokesman Jonathan Edwards told the BBC's Sunday Politics Wales programme the impact on Wales would be "devastating".
Downing Street has described the reports as "speculation".

The Carmarthen East and Dinefwr MP said pulling out of the single market and customs union would have a "huge impact on jobs and wages in Wales".
"The reality of what we're going to hear from [Theresa May] on Tuesday, it's going to be the greatest job-killing act in Welsh economic history, probably in British economic history," he added.

It looks as if the Germans are getting a bit tired of May's infantile demands.

So am I, and her bland assertions that everything is going to be wonderful just because she says so. There was so much misinformation and error in her big speech the other day that I couldn't be bothered to even start a critique, and the fact that the main Tory fanzines had all mysteriously agreed to rebrand her 'The Bronze Lady' the next day, along with Boris trolling the EU with God wins Law, suggests the whole enterprise is going to remain squarely in the realm of a emotional fear appeals and false flags for some time to come.

One thing's for sure - any and all adverse consequences of Brexit are going to be laid at the feet of the EU.

Not only the Germans. I read that article, my German has not completely disappeared Entirely agree she is blind to reality as are the rest of Brexiteers;
The UK wants out of the club so the EU says go. The UK says can we play a few holes now and again. The EU says no and you cant even use the toilet. So simple is it.
