Let's talk about the resource curse economies being f*cked
Australia, Canada, Saudi Arabia and even the USA. All the BRIC economies. Bollexed up because gifting culture ain't rational and never will be. They thought it was and built huge derivative debt mountains on the hope the map would follow the river, but the river is doing its own thing. The UK is booming despite BREXIT. It's output is mainly the service sector, finance and media and so on....all very adaptive in the current circumstances.

I have no idea. I think he may be upset because Canada rejected the UK's post-Brexit trade agreement advances. The service sector only services the domestic economy you need to bring something to the table for foreign trade to occur.

I'll bring either iron ore wool. And chips. Yummy, Tassie woodchips.

Gin is for self-deluded, cardigan wearing, soon-to-be-pensioned-off neo-Nazis.JimC wrote:Pour yourself a G & T; being a Crumple interpreter must be bloody hard work...Hermit wrote:He's complaining that none of the countries he lists are giving their resources to the UK for free - curses them for being so mean.pErvin wrote:"Gifting culture"? It's lemon cordial for me during the day and up to three beers after 6 in the evening. Perfect drinks for cantankerous grumps.

Well, it is hard to expect the culturally deprived parts of Australia to appreciate the finer things of life.Hermit wrote:Gin is for self-deluded, cardigan wearing, soon-to-be-pensioned-off neo-Nazis.JimC wrote:Pour yourself a G & T; being a Crumple interpreter must be bloody hard work...Hermit wrote:He's complaining that none of the countries he lists are giving their resources to the UK for free - curses them for being so mean.pErvin wrote:"Gifting culture"? Excellent. So, some inhabitants of culturally deprived parts of Australia can appreciate the good things in life too. Even those among them who mistake gin for being one of them. Onya.JimC wrote:

Coopers is pretty lame as far as good Ales go. Although, naturally I'd prefer to drink it rather than any of the other mainstream commercial beers here.
