Yes they are unless the owners want to pay 35% tariff rates.
The tax just goes to consumers. The dollar store goes to $1.35 store.

Actually, the owner can afford not to do business in the US at all, and in all likelihood, doing the work in China or India likely is worth more to them than the 35% tariff to sell their goods in the usa... odds are they save more that way than by building new factories there all over again.

You might want to look in the mirror, what does the USA have to lose by high tariffs and looking after it's own citizens first. I mean fucking over China will be such a negative for them.
Do you know how many American Government bonds China owns? Dont shout too loud.
Too many, which is why work needs to be done now. China also owns too many of American industrial parts suppliers, and other formerly American industrial entities. This is a real problem.

At this point, there is still time, perhaps, to take measures to alleviate the fall, or to change direction at least to some extent. If the situation suggests that now there should be care taken as to how loud one shouts, it is only headed in a worse direction (for the US). As China's military development continues, it will gain on the US. Right now, the US matches or exceeds the combined might of China and Russia, depending on how you look at it. Our navy alone, without reference to American allies, is larger than Russia and China's combined. But, it takes years and decades to change course when you're talking about economies as large as the US, China and Russia. It would be folly to wait until 10 or 20 years from now and then say "hey, wait a minute..." Action must be taken when action can be assuredly taken. On the course we're heading, it doesn't get any more assured down the line...

Wait....who's against globalism now? The left or the right? It's the right now? The right is against globalism. The right has always been against globalism.

But... up until a few weeks ago, the left was against globalism.

Another example, Winston.

A serious delusion.

The left likes globalization. The left has always supported globalization. The anti-globalization protesters have always been right wingers.

Hillary Clinton not only won the popular vote in Tuesday’s election. It is now clear that she won it by a margin larger than two candidates who went on to win the presidency.

David Leonhardt, a columnist for The New York Times, noted on Friday that with a 1.7-percentage-point popular vote lead over Donald Trump,Clinton will have a larger margin of victory than Richard Nixon had over Hubert Humphrey in 1968 or John F. Kennedy had over Nixon in 1960. (Her edge is also larger than Al Gore’s popular vote victory over George W. Bush in 2000, though he too was stymied by an electoral college loss.)

In raw numbers, that amounts to an edge of roughly 1.8 million votes as of Saturday.
Huffpo is wrong, she did not "win the popular vote." She won the votes which had by that time been counted, and only by a slight margin.

One major source of votes cast, but uncounted, are write in votes. States count write-in votes (mailed in ballots) from military people and such only when the difference between the regularly cast ballots are close enough that it can make a difference. So, in most states in which Trump was the winner, they didn't count the mail in ballots because there were not enough mail in ballots to change the outcome. However, mail in ballots are generally expected to tilt Trump about 3 to 1. so, if you really wanted to know who won the "popular vote" you'd have to require all the votes to be counted. It's likely that if you counted all the write in votes, you'd have Trump well in the lead. Even in California, which tilts 3-1 Democrat, the write in votes are 3 to 1 Trump. And, there are many hundreds of thousands of write in votes in CA which were left uncounted. He wouldn't have made up the difference in California per se, but he would have made up the 150,000 or so difference between him and Clinton nationally.

The single word "Canada" is not a proper sentence.

Absolutely. I had to learn grammar in 2 foreign languages. The better one I've been using for 50 years. I got a B in English my first semester in America (where I have paid taxes for 40 years). The second semester and then all through high school I got As.
