Hillary Clinton May “CANCEL” First Debate.
If this is true then what follows. Clinton is the invisible candidate, the more the public see of her the less they like her. Can she get away with not doing the debates at all?

According to some anonymous rwnj.
If she does cancel, I assume she will suffer in the polls.

All the Trump needs to do to win is to put on a fake debate with a dummy dressed as Clinton. And then talk to himself through it.

"buy" -- not put into, "buy." nobody says it's going to be less expensive than insurance on the open market.Tero wrote:wiki
Under Clinton's 2016 health care plan, people over 55 years old would be allowed to buy into Medicare if they wanted to.
We've already been told, for years now, that the US has spent way more per capita on healthcare than any other country in the world. That was one of the reasons we were told we needed Obamacare, to bring down the costs and save money. It was going to be a money saver. Now, you want to say that proposing an additional - ADDITIONAL - $40 BILLION to pay for even more healthcare costs, after we have already seen monumental increases in costs and insurance premiums over the last three years - that's a good thing? What happened to all the savings we were going to have due to Obamacare's fraud protection provisions? What about how the costs would go down when the "pool" increased to have 10s of milions of more people covered and chipping in?Tero wrote: In July 2016, Clinton proposed to make Affordable Care Act funding for health care centers permanent, and expand the funding by $40 billion over the next 10 years.[112]
As usual, a monstrosity is sold with those kind of selling points, and then after it passes, all that goes by the wayside. Now, if you're not in favor of EXPANDING what was just 3-6 years ago promised as the solution to rising healthcare costs, well, you can't be a good person and oppose that expansion. It's healthcare. Healthcare good; therefore more money to healthcare = good. It's a scientific fact.
She proposes $40 billion more? That's not a point in her favor, IMO.
Wonderful solution -- create a government funded business entity which survives on taxpayer dollars and have it compete against the free market. Government gets to set prices, and fund losses with taxpayer dollars. Sounds fair. What could go wrong?Tero wrote:
Clinton supports federal and state efforts to create Medicare-like "public option" health insurance plans to compete against private insurers.
You haven't pointed out anything you get from Hillary. You've just said she wants more funding and to allow people over 55 to buy Medicare. First of all, nobody can trust her that this is what she really intends. She's no more trustworthy than Trump. She's say whatever.Tero wrote: Trump: I get nothing. (that is the ONE promise he has made I can count on)
But, if we're looking at what they are proposing - Trump does offer you specific proposals to replace Obamacare -- https://www.donaldjtrump.com/positions/ ... are-reform
The healthcare industry is run like a monopoly with one price treatments. Every place charges the same other than some odd hospitals across the country that decided to offer flat rates for operations, paid prior to the treatment.[/quote]

Chicago Tribune - Hillary Clinton's Dreadful Lies -- http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opin ... story.html
She lied repeatedly about her emails. She lied when she said she had "turned over everything I was obligated to turn over" (FBI Director James Comey said the FBI "discovered several thousand work-related e-mails that were not among the group of 30,000 e-mails returned by Secretary Clinton to state in 2014"). She lied when she said there was "no classified material" in her private emails ... that there was nothing "classified at the time" ... and that there was nothing "marked classified" in her private emails — all of which the FBI director said were untrue. And, to top it all off, she lied about her lies — declaring on national television that "Director Comey said my answers were truthful, and what I've said is consistent with what I have told the American people" — a claim The Post's Fact Checker gave "Four Pinocchios."
Clinton lied to the American people about Benghazi. At 10:08 p.m. the night of the attack, she issued a statement that blamed the attack on "inflammatory material posted on the Internet" with no mention of terrorism or al-Qaeda. But an hour later, at 11:12 p.m. she emailed her daughter, Chelsea: "Two of our officers were killed in Benghazi by an Al Queda-like [sic] group." The next day in a phone call with the Egyptian prime minister, Clinton said: "We know the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack, not a protest." Yet two days later, as she welcomed the caskets of the fallen in Dover, Del., she blamed that attack on "an awful Internet video that we had nothing to do with."
She lied about a trip she made to Bosnia, claiming that she and her team arrived "under sniper fire," skipped the arrival ceremony and "just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base." In fact, a video shows her being greeted on the tarmac by Bosnian officials and an 8-year-old Muslim girl, Emina Bicakcic, who read a poem in English and told Clinton, "There is peace now."
She lied about her family history. In 2015, she said she could relate to illegal immigrants because "all my grandparents" immigrated to the United States. When BuzzFeed's Andrew Kaczynski pointed out that three of Clinton's four grandparents were born in the United States, a Clinton spokesman said "her grandparents always spoke about the immigrant experience and, as a result she has always thought of them as immigrants."
And her dishonesty stretches back decades. As the late, great William Safire pointed out in a 1996 New York Times column, she delivered a "blizzard of lies" as first lady — about Whitewater, the firing of White House travel aides, her representation of a criminal enterprise known as the Madison S&L and how she made a 10,000 percent profit in 1979 commodity trading simply by studying the Wall Street Journal. Even back then, Safire concluded, Clinton was "a congenital liar."
Today, the American people agree. A recent NBC News poll found that just 11 percent of Americans say Clinton is honest and trustworthy. To put that in perspective, 14 percent of American voters believe in Bigfoot. In other words, more Americans believe that a large, hairy, hominoid creature inhabits the forest of North America than believe that Hillary Clinton tells the truth.
So if Clinton wonders why so many believe she is lying about her health, it is because she has lied so many times, about so many things, that most Americans no longer believe a word she says — even if she's telling the truth.
When she opens her mouth, people look at her like Belloc's Matilda and say, "Little Liar."

Read more: http://www.thepoliticalinsider.com/t-da ... z4L0OzwxLADead Broke – In an interview, Clinton stated that she “came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt.” Something even the left-leaning Politifact found to be false.
Sniper Fire – During the 2008 campaign, Clinton said she came under sniper fire in Bosnia during the ’90s. She went so far as to claim her group ran “with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.” Video of her actual arrival surfaced showing a very calm scene instead, and the Democrat would quickly say she simply misspoke.
Immigrant Grandparents – When discussing immigrant stories, Clinton asserted that “all my grandparents… came over here.” It was another story Politifact said was false, as only one of her grandparents was an immigrant.
Sir Edmund Hillary – Seems Clinton can’t even bring herself to tell the truth about her own name. She claimed to be named after Sir Edmund Hillary, one of the first men to climb Mt. Everest. One small problem though, the explorer didn’t climb Everest until Clinton was 6 years old.
The Few, The Proud, The Marines – Very recently, Clinton claimed to have been turned down by the Marines when she applied in 1975. Washington Post fact-checkers quickly realized the absurdity that a rising legal star at the time, and soon to be wife of Bill Clinton, would drop everything and ship off with the Marines. They gave her a couple of Pinocchios for her tall tale.
Secret E-Mails – Former Secretary of State Clinton claimed her infamous private e-mail server was set up in “accordance with the rules and the regulations in effect.” A federal judge disagreed, saying Clinton “violated government policy” when she used a private server to store official State Department messages.
Benghazi – Clearly the most reprehensible lie of them all – Clinton failed to tell the truth about a terrorist attack that killed four Americans in Benghazi. She claimed for weeks, standing over the flag-draped coffins of murdered Americans, that an insensitive YouTube video had incited the violence that occurred that night. Why? Because a terrorist attack on the anniversary of 9/11 – which it was – would have destroyed President Obama’s re-election chances. But hey, at the end of the day it’s worth it to Clinton to tell a politically expedient lie, so long as her party can stay in power.

Well, the goings on in Charlotte are not making the Black Lives Matter folks look good. And, if indeed whites are driven to Trump because of a race issue, anyone who saw what went on in Charlotte last night would be rather appalled. Assaulting journalists. Chasing white people down and beating the shit out of them. Raiding and looting stores, shattering windows, destroying people's livelihoods.... over a shooting of a (apparently armed) black man by a black police officer who is a member of a police force with black police chief. Then you have members of the protest group running around saying all white people are devils and all white people should be shot.Tero wrote:Old news. Nobody cares but the most loyal Hillary haters. Couple that with the repeated marches where the protesters chant "what do we want? Dead cops. When do we want it? Now." And, you have a recipe for people to conclude that if, indeed, my skin color makes me your enemy, then that's your call, not mine.

Re: Hillary Clinton May “CANCEL” First Debate.
I didn't see any good evidence for the allegation that she's considering canceling the debate.
She "may" cancel the debate seems to be something they're throwing out there because she canceled a dozen other appearances, so if she canceled those we can say that she "may" cancel another one. The speculation as to her motivation - trying to run out the clock - is pure speculation about what might be an applicable motivation for her to do this cancelation, which there is no evidence is even being contemplated.
I don't think she can cancel it. If she does, she'll be skewered, and it will create massive curiosity about why, and if it really has something to do with her health. It would be devastating for her campaign.
I think it's just as reasonable to assume that she sees the debates as far more important than public appearances right now. The debates are where she can put the election to bed, or screw it up. So my guess is she's resting, getting herself read, and working with doctors to make sure nothing happens that would raise a health question. And, also practicing her gut shots, gotchas and zingers, so that she can try to stick a fork in Trump at the debate.
The ratings projected for the debate are bigger than ever in the history of elections in the US. The interest is phenomenal. Most voters are likely going to watch, and if they don't watch it live, they're going to watch the recorded video. This is a key moment. We don't have to go further than that in speculating why Clinton would be out of sight these last few days. It could just be that she's practicing every day. These folks use stand-ins for their opponent and they practice practice practice. Trump is using a stand in for Hillary, too and he's practicing. I think they both see 9/26 is a crossroads date.

Well, taking the 5th means he did something wrong. You can only legally take the 5th when your answer to a question may tend to incriminate you for a crime. You can't take the 5th because you prefer not to answer. So, while they can't admit his assertion of 5th amendment rights against him in a court of law to prove guilt of a crime, it is certainly an admission that he did something that is not in accord with the law.Tero wrote:Hillary It head stalling.
