'London is most educated city in Europe'

Where in Europe would you expect to find the highest concentration of graduates?
Would it be a particularly earnest quarter of Oslo? Or an erudite corner of Finland or Germany?
The answer - by a considerable distance - is London. In parts of London, more than two in three adults of working age, have a degree or higher education equivalent.
It is above anywhere in the European Union and unlike anywhere else in the United Kingdom.

It suggests how this mega-city, drawing talent from around the globe, has become a different type of economy. It's a city state of the digital age, trading in ideas.

And yet barely any of them will ever own a home there.

Any fool can get a degree in Britain nowadays. It's never been easier, or less of an indication of ACTUAL standard of education.

Unless it's a degree in medicine, or law, or physics or maths. But even those are easier to bluff your way through these days, with more emphasis on course work, and less on exams.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

Plenty of noddy degrees around just look at the tory party. It proves nothing except you need at least a degree to pay the rent.

In an alternative reality (a better one) London could have been the capital of Europe

It'll have to settle for being the capital of European money. Until Brexit kills it dead, of course.

Wrong location. In the seven it was more central.

It is probably 'Gender Studies',' Islamic Studies'. 'Communication' and 'liberal arts' degrees. How many of them have STEM degrees, cockney wankers.

Not sure why you used the word ' unfortunately' as if you are going into higher education, well you should at least make sure it is beneficial to your future career. You would have to be already rich if your higher education was only for your hobby.

London is a great city but I'll take the rural north any day. City life would be torture for me. I need green. Sadly, living in area such as mine means being surrounded by navvies, yokels, bumpkins and clampetts, so that element of London life I do very much envy. I do do wish that the working classes I were a little more humble and willing to learn and a little less certain of their rather insular and poorly thought out views.
